I stayed for one night at the end of July in summer for 1152 Hong Kong dollars. The room was very clean. It is located on the edge of Lake Como. It is a family business B&B with few rooms. There is a restaurant in front of the owner's house that tastes good. The attitude is average, no enthusiasm and no poor care. He didn't give me a big bath towel when he gave us the room. It was already very inconvenient for me to use a small towel to wipe after taking a shower. After I checked out, he chased me and said that I took two big towels. Although it was a misunderstanding, I think the EQ of running a small shop is really low. Next time, don't be greedy for cheapness. There are still many choices for B&Bs under 2000 Hong Kong dollars.

We loved this place. The rooms looked out on the mountains and would stay cooler in the heat of the day. The host was very helpful even though we arrived much later than planned, because of train problems. There was a real personal touch (for me that's the difference between a B&B and an impersonal hotel) - eg the homemade preserves but also the characterful house itself, full of interesting objects. Very clean. Loads of towels. Right by the station so very convenient for train travellers like ourselves, but only 5 minutes to the lakeside. Good value too for this area. Highly recommended.
