Lijiang Spa Hotels

Super loved our stay at Intercontinental Lijiang. Hotel location is fantastic, the main entrance is along the road hence cars can enter and drop you off directly at the main lobby. The side gate of the hotel leads directly into the ancient town. There is no need to drag your luggage through the rocky roads of the ancient town. Buggy service to and fro the main lobby and rooms are available 24/7. Amenities are good, with an indoor pool and sauna as well as a in-house spa centre. The cafe in the lobby has a very beautiful view of the snow mountain, and is nice to have tea there to enjoy the view. They even have a dyson hair dryer in every room too. Highly recommend 👍🏼

I sing highly of your service. First of all, the hotel is so beautiful. It looks like a garden. I enjoy it. Then, foods are delicious and some of them are amazing. Most important reason is that the bed is so big and soft that I don't want to get up every morning. It's wonderful here. I can't believe it that I must leave. I want to live here again if I come to this city again.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. It was situated in a quiet area. I loved that there were a lot of trees around. The breakfast was standard not much variation from one day to the next. The room was clean, I'll attach some photos. The security guards were really friendly. Rena went the extra mile to ensure that I had a great stay from recommending different places I could visit to arranging for my takeaway to be delivered to my door every night. Thank you once again Rena for the excellent service, it really goes a long way for someone who is travelling alone.

Jinmao Hotel is famous for its beautiful environment. I like the courtyard and natural beauty here. It made our stay very comfortable. To improve: the attitude of the service staff is uneven. Some service staff are very patient, and some service staff have a bad attitude. Just like the service staff at the counter, we wanted to ask her for help on the last day to go to the train station. She frowned and asked us to go to another department for assistance. We felt that we disturbed her busy work. When we went to another department, they said that they all listened to the arrangements of the front desk. At that time, we felt that they could not help guests solve such a small problem. I hope that the hotel management can see our feedback and train some service staff who need improvement. Fortunately, the manager Jennifer contacted us in time to help us solve the problem and kept apologizing to us, which alleviated our bad impression of them. Thanks for her help this time and let us have a pleasant stay.

The hotel is really nice👍I was a little worried about the remote location, but the hotel is in the Dongba Valley Scenic Area, right in the middle of Shuhe Ancient Town and Yulong Snow Mountain, and only takes 20 minutes to drive to either side. Although the surrounding area is not prosperous, there are many experiential activities in the hotel, and there is no time to be bored. Families with children can especially consider staying in this hotel. The children experienced tie-dyeing, learned Dongba characters, and took some photos in ethnic minority costumes. The most impressive thing was that we gathered together around the stove at night to roast dried food and drink some beer. The warm feeling was very comfortable. The room is also neat and clean, and the facilities are relatively new. The hotel waiters are very warm and kind, thank you🙏

This place is a combination of Chinese traditional style of setting with modern classy set up. I was amazed by the this hotel. I rate this hotel as above the highest rating. The staff our super friendly and kind. Our housekeeper Alice provide us the excellent service. Not only she upgrade the room for us but also service us with the cake. We felt honored, and we were very touched by the decorations they put in our room too. The breakfast was so wonderful the choice of food awesome. Words can’t truly express how amazing this resort is. You need to just simply come and experience. The staff took care of every single detail and went above and beyond. Bivou is a gem in Yunnan. The service staff are extremely helpful and go the extra mile to make you feel like you’re at home. I was assigned a room surrounded by greenery, and the feeling when you look out the windows was amazing especially when it rains. They maintain the space very well and there were no bugs in the room despite all the plants outside. They have in house activities if you wish to have a rest day from the touristy stuff. Food was delicious too - I think they use the produce that they plant themselves so it’s very fresh. South East Asians would be glad to know there’s kaya and milo available for breakfast! I couldn’t catch everyone’s names but big shout out to all the hardworking staff there including Xuexue, May and Layla for making my stay so lovely.

The first B&B I stayed in when I flew to Lijiang The B&B is well managed. It is a butler service. We were sent the service items a few days in advance There are airport pick-up/travel photo experience or spa, and the free breakfast with two meals is also super rich, one for each person. You can choose Chinese/Western/Naxi characteristics, and breakfast is served all day, which means it can basically be eaten as a full meal In addition, an afternoon tea set is also given, which is also very rich. We basically ate enough with free meals for two days In addition, the location and environment of the hotel are really nothing to say. It is right opposite the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Although the weather was not good when we went there, we also saw a good sunrise We chose the airport pick-up and travel photo experience, which were also very good. The master waited at the airport more than an hour in advance. The travel photo makeup and photography skills are good, and I am very satisfied with the photos In addition, the drinks in the Snow Mountain Restaurant are free!! Coffee, tea, etc. are all free to drink as many times as you like, which is great. The service attitude is also good, and they upgraded our room. The view is unbeatable and the experience is beyond expectations. If I have to say something, it is that the sound insulation in the room is a little worse, and the decoration of the room is relatively simple, but the flaws are not enough to hide the merits. It is a homestay worth recommending.

Staying in this hotel is really just for the view of the mountain. Service is so-so and hotel breakfast is quite underwhelming with staff needing reminder to replenish at around 930am. Me and my friend had to remind the staff for our omelette order, which arrived when we were done. At the Checkin counter, staff will tout you for star gazing trips as well as massage packages. It was a cloudy day yet the staff said we can see the stars, so we obviously didn’t take up the offer. Key positive is the photoshoot which allows 5 free photos + 15s video. The room is nice & spacious, with a nice living room space and balcony to enjoy the view of the mountain. However, the toilet door may lock if you close a tad too hard + bathroom has a damp tower smell. For a ~US$500 stay in this region, you’re paying for the view of the mountain + photoshoot (5 pic + 15s vid) + room (if your toilet is okay).

Went to Lijiang with my elderly parents. Selected this hotel based on its location, which is outside of the ancient city, but near enough to walk to. There is no need to lug suitcases on cobblestone road and there is a lift to every floor so it was elder-friendly. It is also not far from Heilongtan. We stayed here for 3 nights. Got complimentary room upgrade. Staff are friendly and helpful, all the way from from the main reception, to housekeepers, to cafe, to breakfast crew. When tired from walking around town, mahjong was also available. Cannot remember everyone by name, but would like to thank the whole team, 小娟，安娜 for a wonderful stay.
