Love the hotel! Location is the best, very convenient. Beautiful hotel and room. Breakfast was good as well! Great personal concierge service provided from Emily and Wendy! Would definitely go back again!

First: The location is easy to find. It takes 13 minutes to get to the hotel from Shangri-La. Second: The room is very large, a three-story villa, and the area is really huge👍 The supporting facilities are complete, there are washing machines, bathing pools, and free bars. And the hotel environment is very good, the large villa area, the landscaping environment is very good, and the air is very fresh. You can also walk in the hotel at night, because the villa area is relatively large, you can also ask the staff of the battery car if you get lost, so don't worry. Third: After arriving at the hotel, there are staff to help with luggage, especially the housekeeper Obama, the service is very good and very enthusiastic. We arranged a room upgrade and free breakfast👍 It added a lot of warmth to our tired journey. It can be given all five stars. Obama is responsive and super fast👍 Fourth: It happened to be the peak period of the May Day holiday. It happened to be the last day of the buffet. The restaurant was full, but Obama quickly gave more tables and told his colleagues to pay attention to the location of the snow mountain and arrange for us to change tables immediately. This warm and meticulous service touched us very much. Fourth: The hotel has a wide variety of buffets, and all kinds of Japanese food and drinks are free to enjoy👍 I will choose this hotel again when I come to Lijiang in the future

I chose this place when I came to Lijiang for the first time. The first impression I got from this place was that it was very cost-effective. The service facilities in all aspects were great. The housekeeper who specially received us was also very nice and responsible. He was always responsive to our requests. So I would like to express my special thanks to the housekeeper Gao Fan for taking good care of me and my wife. I will stay at this place again when I come to Lijiang with my parents next time!

Pros: This is a good hotel for a family! My son loves the animal feeding activities. The view at the tea house is amazing. The hotel has their own game room, convenient store, etc. They have many restaurants and taste delicious!! Breakfast has lots of choices and starts early. The expat manager/supervisor woman was really nice, friendly, helpful and accommodating! Thank you! Cons: 1. The front desk/reception. They need to be more welcome and friendly. They were snobbish, not welcome and can’t really speak english (its a chain hotel, hyatt hotel!). We were just about to checked in and were greeted with those frown, if only we havent paid the room we were thinking to move to pullman instead. 2. Book for mountain view room, but they gave us no mountain view. we have to ask to move to other room. 3. We got the room we want, but i think they havent clean the room for awhile, the floor is filthy. 4 if only there is no time schedule to see the alpaca since some people already has their plans for the day and the time schedule might not be fit with guest itineraries. Or they can give us the hotel schedule once we booked the hotel so we can work on our itineraries before check in. Conclusion: we really enjoyed our stay. Other staffs beside the front desk are nice and friendly. Might come back if they improve the front desk ladies.

Facilities: Bathtub, air conditioning, floor heating, toiletries are self-owned brands Hygiene: Very clean Environment: Simple and elegant decoration Service: Very good, Brother A Ming, the guy who drives the shuttle bus at the front desk, two lovely intern sisters, and two handsome summer job brothers provided considerate service. I have to say that the staff training is very good and has reached the standard of high-star hotels This mountain homestay is located in the Dongba Valley Scenic Area. Although it is a scenic area, it also has a secluded taste. The environment is quiet. There is a garden with a small bridge and flowing water in the public area, which is like a small Jiangnan under the snow-capped mountains. The restaurant can see the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, but it is a pity that it is not possible to see the sun shining on the Golden Mountain on cloudy days. The hotel also has some additional services. In the evening, there is tea brewing around the stove. People from all over the world gather around the stove to talk at night, which is very pleasant. The next day, I made an appointment with the hotel to pick mushrooms in the back mountain. Brother A Ming took us to the back mountain to pick mushrooms. We picked a lot of red umbrellas and white poles of mushrooms and saw green hands. We also found an excellent snow mountain viewing position in the back mountain. As a mountain resort, this hotel deserves its reputation. If there is a chance, I will come back to experience it in winter.

We truly enjoyed staying at the Banyan Tree resort. We took twice a bike to Shuhe, the ancient town. We like this ancient town so much better than Lijiang. We also took a taxi to watch the impressions of Lijiang show in the mountains and see the Blue Moon Valley. Thanks to Nancy, who was always available when we had questions, even on her days off we could count on her. And William who is experienced and very good in English language helped us make the day to see the show an unforgettable day. Kate was able to show us around and give us advice where needed. Very few speak English and the help of William and Nancy and Kate made the stay very special. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the own private hot tubs very much.

The guest house is located in a quiet street off the main pedestrian street in the old quarter of Lijiang. The hotel is beautiful, quiet and full of antique decorations. In front of the guest house, is a large garden where the locals grow their food, so picturesque. The staff are warm and friendly, and helped us to book a fantastic hike through the surrounding mountains. Our guide, Bongdu, was amazing, he had so much knowledge to share about the plants and the monastery we visited. The room was fully fitted with a range of amenities and the food was delicious. No complaints at all, a wonderful place to stay.

This Hotel is stunning and exceeded all my expectations in terms of cleanliness and services. The Lake view is incredible, you can take a stroll around it or just enjoy the view from your room. It’s such a calm, quiet and relaxing environment. The Hotel and the surroundings are both very picturesque and beautiful. The Hotel staff is super friendly and incredibly helpful too, they made our stay even more enjoyable and easier. They provided transportation services and free airport drop off. We also got a room upgrade which we loved, so much. We got a wonderful tea welcome and breakfast was amazing. The extended breakfast time makes it even better as you can sleep in. Loved our experience there. Thank you.

Staying in this hotel is really just for the view of the mountain. Service is so-so and hotel breakfast is quite underwhelming with staff needing reminder to replenish at around 930am. Me and my friend had to remind the staff for our omelette order, which arrived when we were done. At the Checkin counter, staff will tout you for star gazing trips as well as massage packages. It was a cloudy day yet the staff said we can see the stars, so we obviously didn’t take up the offer. Key positive is the photoshoot which allows 5 free photos + 15s video. The room is nice & spacious, with a nice living room space and balcony to enjoy the view of the mountain. However, the toilet door may lock if you close a tad too hard + bathroom has a damp tower smell. For a ~US$500 stay in this region, you’re paying for the view of the mountain + photoshoot (5 pic + 15s vid) + room (if your toilet is okay).

Beautiful hotel, great location very close to the ancient town. The Glacier Mountain View from the hotel room is super convenient to watch sunrise and the alpenglow. The room was luxurious. The bed was comfortable. Great breakfast buffet and afternoon tea. Good internet connection. The service was flawless. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Especially 安娜/小娟 was very helpful and competent. Will definitely book again. A tip: the ancient town itself has corbel stone throughout, hence very difficult to navigate with a luggage. This hotel is located outside the ancient town and directly accessible via cars. A big win!
