The outside hallway had indoor outdoor carpeting which was filthy and poorly kept. on the stairway going up to the second floor, the fourth step was coming apart and slanted downward. The outside needed painting and replacement of the wood boarder as it was rotting out. The bathroom toilet seat was falling off and the maintenance told us they didn't have time to make any repairs. The bathroom sink was not only cracked but had rust all around the drain. The balcony also was filled with cobwebs and was in need of repair and cleaning. We left a day early because of this.

2024 eclipse was our reason for traveling.
The hotel was totally prepared for the influx of people and the staff were wonderful.
The mattresses and pillows were new and very comfy.

When I booked, I thought I was getting a room at the resort. Not a cabin across the street (which is dangerous crossing). I felt like I was camping. That’s was not what I was looking forward too.

My boyfriend and I stayed here one night for a spontaneous trip and we absolutely loved it! Devin was super nice and helpful when we were checking in. He gave us a free room upgrade since they weren’t very busy, and he gave us a late checkout the following day so we could enjoy the pool! We had a balcony lake front room and the view was beautiful! The indoor and outdoor pool and hot tub were clean and definitely our favorite part! My only complaint would be the beds. They are definitely on the very uncomfortable side and could use an update. Other than that everything was fantastic!
