Travelodge by Wyndham Lincoln Near White Mountain

The hotel was almost empty. The Hotel worker was not at the desk when I arrived. I was told by another person to wait one minute. The room was clean and had everything I needed. The staff was cordial.

One of the three rooms rented this month was not cleaned after the last visitor. There was trash left behind and soiled linens. The rooms were all worn and outdated.

NO BREAKFAST. Only 3 Vehicles on the parking lot at 8pm. This place is going down. When you look this property online note the first thing they advertise is “Hotel with free breakfast, walk to White Mountain National Forest”. I went to the office at 8:30am to ask where the breakfast was been served and there was nobody there. It was all dark. Lights out. There was a cord telephone unit on the wall outside the office with a sign asking people if they had any questions to grab that phone unit and dial “0”. Really. At 8:30am? So I dialed “0”. A girl pickup the phone and told me the breakfast would be served in the office at 9am. Ok. Went back to the office at 9am and there was a gentleman there. I asked him about the breakfast and he said the hotel doesn’t serve breakfast. ???? I pulled out my phone and showed him what he advertise online and he said. I understand but we don’t serve breakfast here. ???? And he added what do you want? I have a bagel. Would you like a bagel? And I said back. I just want to get out of here. I felt betrayed cause when I booked the hotel I specifically selected the amenities I was looking for in a hotel. It’s just weird how some people bring to the US their way of making wrong business.

The rooms were super clean but the bathroom fan didn’t work one of the bathroom lights was out. If you were staying just to sleep and go this is a good place to stay.

old but very clean

If it wasn't a little after midnight when we got there we would have not stayed. No cover on one outlet, a leg was falling off the nightstand, exhaust fan in the bathroom was hanging down on one side and it couldn't be run because it made a terrible noise, no elevator to the second floor, and the phone was flashing we had a message but would not play it. Overall the room looked and felt old with a coat of paint over it. We had never started at a Travelodge before but, since it said "by Wyndham" we thought it should be a decent place. Bad assumption on our part.

The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The hotel was quiet and peaceful.
