Beachfront Manor Hotel

I booked a hot tub suite a month before our stay. They had a special package I purchased that was supposed to let you check in early and check out an hour later. Neither of those happened. I was told if I had read the fine print, then I would have known it was subject to occupancy and staffing. Of course I did not receive a discount for not being able to accommodate us. Or even an apology. By the way, they charge your credit card 48 hours before you arrive. I have never had a hotel do this before. Once again, they told me it was in the fine print. We paid $320 for a night in this room. It was nothing special. It looked worn and tired. The only saving grace was the wonderful out side deck with hot tub and beautiful ocean view! Not sure if it was worth $320 though? This property is 6 stories. They do not mention that there is no elevator. You enter on the 6th floor. They had us on the second floor. We were exhausted by the time we made it to our room with all our luggage. And, making back to the top was a total workout! In conclusion, the view and hot tub were great! Everything else was a disappointment. And, the staff is rude and uncaring.

It was NOT a no show. We drove over 10 hrs to get to check in and hotel desk advised they don't take service dogs or kids "OH you must of booked thru a 3rd party. (***********) We have had trouble with them" it's listed on OUR website that we don't take kids or pets." We were left with no place to stay and had to find alternative accommodations. I was also not refunded for 3 days after HOTEL refused service. I showed up!!

We reserved two separate rooms for different days, first one was a beachfront room with fireplace and hot tub inside of it. Upon arrival we checked in with who I assume was the manager who was not very welcoming in the slightest... I don't really believe in service with a smile but at the minimum service without attitude should be fine. Initially the room was beautiful, the hot tub was great however on closer inspection it was fairly dirty. We had dropped something behind the bed because there was a giant gap and when we looked in it it was just disgusting... There was old food, and ear plugs and it was VERY dusty. The fan they left in the room was filthy too. The stairs leading to the beach only half 3/4 of it with a railing, with really gross looking water at the bottom, I actually tripped going down these and split a toenail open. When checking out we told them this and there was absolutely no response, just like "Ya okay." and then came time for us to ask about our second room..... We booked this well in advance, requested beachfront with a hot tub on the patio.... They told us that was not what we were set up for and had no reason as to why. We called in advance to double check these reservations before driving there, this cut our entire trip short since I wasn't going to stay in the room they gave us instead which was NOTHING like the room we had requested. We'll definitely never be coming back here.

The best beach front hotel around. Brandy was exceptionally helpful in every aspect. Rooms were clean and well stocked. The hot tub was clean and comforting. The fireplace was very enjoyable. I can’t wait until I can come back. I will be telling all of my friends

The room smelled like mold. Had to leave because smell was making me sick. Had to leave same day. Would not recommend staying there. Worse hotel/motel I have stayed in. We have stayed in a lot of motels. Not worth price charged.

I wouldn’t recommend this place I paid a lot of money for the romantic hot tub and when arriving that night the tv didn’t work the fire place would only work if you would mess with it multiple times we called the front desk that night and were told that new lines for the tv were installed and that they would send maintenance out to restart it but still nothing worked we were also told that they couldn’t move us rooms as they were all booked on the one we had rented. Called the next day same issues and still got there’s nothing we can do for you who spends over 250 a night and not have the things work that are suppose too? Called the booking agent I went through the next day as this was not what I had paid for and the hotel lied and said we never made any complaints about the room while we were there dishonest people are discussing I would never stay at this place again..

Wonderful cottage just steps from beach

Beware scammer ALERT! This property will charge you extra fees without your consent and not tell you anything even when you check out! Also when I called to speak with the manager they gave me an email adress and would not connect me to a manager or give me a number to call. I submitted an email with my request for someone to call me and talk to me about charging me an extra 250$! It has been a week and no response. Never had a horrible experience like this at any other hotel before! Be careful! It is off season they have many available rooms for which they cannot get occupancy so they charge people extras so they can make up for it.

Loved the Beachfront Manor Hotel! Our room was huge, clean, and very comfortable. Plus, even though we weren't supposed to have a view, we had a large porch, with great partial ocean views on both sides. I would definitely stay here again!
