Excellent location, clean facilities, comfortable bed, nice view of the Siletz bay through our windows (unfortunately cloudy and rainy so no sunset view). Close to the beach and several restaraunts. A hearty continental breakfast. Close to the regional museum and an excellent grocery store with a deli and liquor store.

No where on the website or in person when checking in said that all rooms were pet rooms. So people who have allergies or sensitivities are left to eat benadryl and puff up like a balloon. It was just 10pm when we got back from having dinner ect. Couldn't talk to anyone until the next morning first thing. Please note. All rooms except the jacuzzi rooms are pet rooms. Also the breakfast area is extremely small, so when people all come at the same time, you get elbowed and crossed over. No one has manners anymore. No excuse me, pardon me, reaching next to you...NOTHING. it's a big nope for us!!!

We used to love this inn, we have been coming here for at least 20 years, however in recent years it has gone way down hill. The prices continue to rise, yet you get less and less, for instance: no maid service unless you request it; very little in the way of coffee service like there used to be; and the continental breakfast is a bit of a joke (as there is very little offered)…nothing like it used to be. The customer service is also not like it used to be…the staff used to be very friendly, helpful, and communicated very well, but now not so much. This time, prior to arriving I had a request that I sent an email about and other than acknowledging that it was received, I never got a response to my inquiry. The rooms are not as clean as they used to be either…the carpets are filthy! I doubt that we will return in the future as they no longer live up to what we had come to expect from our past experiences. Very sad!
