This is one of the worst hotels they've stayed in. Room was literally falling apart -- a piece of wall molding was on the floor, parts of wall were spackled but not painted. Lots of mold on the bathroom grout. Ice machine in freezer very, very slow to make ice, and no hotel ice machine because, we were told, they are an extended stay property (an explanation we were also given for the fact that housekeeping only comes once a week; though I would note they were happy to take our money for a two-night stay). Pool closed. Bathtub drain would not close. In-room phone had no cord. TV remotes -- there were two, already overly complicated for a hotel -- not working, a problem front desk could not solve (though a staff member the next day, without even getting up from her desk, told us to check to see if the Direct TV "eye" had fallen down, which it had). Staff nice but either disengaged or poorly trained; one was literally asleep at the front desk. On the plus side, plenty of towels and the pillows were comfortable. Still, I would not recommend staying here to anyone, and will not stay at another Candlewood Suites property based on this experience.
