Williamscraig Holiday Cottages

Lovely setting and with ideal access to Linlithgow. The 2 Eden Cottage has huge potential but is rough around the edges, downstairs bathroom/shower area looking very hard up and paint flaking in various places in the house. We were a party of 8, 4 sets of couples and when booking it allowed us to book for 8 adults but didn't mention that 4 people would need to share a bedroom. We had some towels for our stay but not enough to cover the party size. The kitchen was also lacking a frying pan and any baking trays and the property had cobwebs hiding in most corners and overall wasn't the cleanest. It has potential but does need a little refresh as currently its not worth what we paid for our stay.

Beech Cottage was lovely; very comfortable, clean and plenty of room. The nature cam is brilliant and a unique feature to the cottages; we enjoyed watching the birds feeding but saw no badgers, alas. The owner was friendly and gave great recommendations for places to visit. We enjoyed using the hot tub in such a beautiful countryside setting. The location itself is great as a base to visit Edinburgh by either car or train,, and also Stirling and the Kelpies. We loved our stay here, would stay here again in future and would recommend to others.

Went for my daughters 30th birthday with family absolutely stunning place to stay very beautiful cottage it was like home from home would absolutely recommend a stay here I will definitely be going back very quiet and peaceful location added bonus lovely swing park for kids

2 Eden Cottages is very well equipped to make an enjoyable, peaceful stay in the Linlithgow area. A fabulous view over open countryside from the living room. Comfy beds and plenty of space for a family of 4. Would definitely book again. We could relax in the hot tub overlooking the fields and had some visitors!

Absolutely astounding visit from with the wife . Our cottage was beautiful well decorated and clean . The surrounding area was beautiful and very peaceful . Everything we needed was cared for from first contact to us leaving the premises . We reccomend

We have just returned from a fabulous weekend at the farmhouse this was my second stay and it was just as good as I remember, the kitchen is so spacious and its just lovely being able to have everyone sit round the table, the kids had lots of fun sitting at the table playing games and making Easter bonnets, the sitting room has lots of space and seating, all bedrooms and very comfortable and relaxing (the duvets are so fluffy!) having the hot tub is an added bonus along with the park which the kids also loved, we had a lovely meal at the golf clubs restaurant, the wee white dog catering company, the staff were lovely and very accommodating, can’t wait to return.

As soon as we walked through the door at Rose Cottage, we felt settled and at home. The cottage was perfect for us, our friends and our two dogs. It's very spacious, yet really cosy at the same time. The hot tub was great to relax in too. We walked into Linlithgow a few times from the cottage, it's a 30 minute walk down a lovely country lane. The town's lovely with plenty of places to eat, we particularly enjoyed Taste, the food was delicious, reasonably priced and the staff were really friendly. You can walk down the canal in either direction and we would definitely recommend walking around Linlithgow Loch, it's a great walk and very picturesque. Edinburgh is a twenty minute train ride away from Linlithgow and well worth a visit. We definitely hope to stay again sometime, we had a fantastic time.

Stayed in Eden 1 & 2 cottages with my family in October 2023. The location is wonderful. Nice scenery and nice walks to go on. Great for the kids, they enjoyed playing in the park outside. However we found the cottages very cold, we were told there was underfloor heating but couldn’t feel it. It’s cold in October so it wasn’t comfortable temperature wise at all. The cottages also require some updating. The beds made noise with every move, very springy and uncomfortable. Dining tables and worktops were dirty and we had to clean them before cooking & eating. Neither oven worked great, took 4 times as long as it should to properly cook food in the ovens, perhaps they are old and need replaced. More frying pans & baking trays would be helpful too as there was only 1 of each in each cottage which isn’t really enough for cottages that sleep 7 people in each(14 total). It’s a large number to cook for without the proper utensils. However, all that being said, we had a wonderful time. Would return if beds, ovens & general cleanliness were improved. Thanks

We had such a comfortable stay at Eden 2, that it made our Scotland holiday extra special. Everything was available that a family could need on a holiday, and more. The cottage is very nice size and provides absolutely stunning views.
