My wife and I stayed at the hotel and loved every second of our stay. The hotel is ideally situated for the Victoria Falls and is situated within the national park so you see giraffes, impala’s, monkeys and zebra’s around the grounds.
The staff are very attentive, our butler Kennedy was always on hand to assist us. Other members of staff such as Chola, Dorothy and Lupendo made our stay memorable and pleasant and we can’t wait to return for our next visit.

We currently staying at the Royal Livingston as we brought my mom for her 70th Birthday a milestone event. I have to thank the team headed by Mathew for making this trip incredibly momentous. A birthday dinner under the monkey trees at the beautiful gardens of the Royal Livingston made my mom and us incredibly happy. A delicious 5 course menu with Dorborovsky our amazing waiter followed by Roy, Lucky and Hero who cooked up a storm over exceeded our expectations. Thank you to The Royal Livingston we will definitely be coming back.

The facilities and location of the Hotel are excellent, but it is incredible that two nights we did not have water in the bathrooms.

The Royal Livingstone Hotel is one of the most elegant establishments in the world. How many other hotels have their own Zebras, Giraffes and Impalas roaming their grounds around their guests, and having the mighty Zambezie river at the property edge was amazing. The food and its presentation was amazing as was its beverages. The staff were so attentive and the rooms are wonderful. Everything about this hotel was so wonderful. I am so glad I chose to stay there.

El lugar es muy hermoso. Estar ahi es un privilegio; sin embargo el servicio del hotel deba mucho que desear. Un hotel de este precio, debe tener las habitaciones y los baños impecables. Nuestra regadera tenía moho en las paredes y aunque pedi que lo limpiaran no lo hicieron. El buffet de cena es de calidad de un hotel de 3*. Pedimos 2 botellas de vino del menu y no las tenían. Conseguir la atención de un mesero era difícil y los pedidos tardaban demasiado. Pedimos em cafe llegando al desayuno, y no llego hasta que nos teniamos que ir. Tuvimos que pedir un vaso para llevar. A la hora de la cuenta, también tuvimos problemas pues no tenían cambio. En general vale la pena conocer el lugar, un ubicación unica, pero el servicio deja mucho que desear.

Not our standard type of accomodation. This is more of a 'resort' right beside the Victoria Falls (in fact free entry is included when you stay here). It's location is unparalleled on the Zambezi and one could not wake up and believe you were anywhere else on earth...the smoke of the Falls (and roar of the water...often heard when the helicopters aren't overhead) and the antelope, zebra and giraffe roaming in the extensive, beautiful gardens. This is an international quality hotel. Modern/contemporary rooms and facilities. Staff there to do everything you could want - with a smile. Restaurant serves beautifully presented food ( and our best breakfast during our recent Afican holiday). The public areas are beautiful...very grand, particularly the bar (which also has a great selection of malts). The rooms are spacious - but are rooms nonetheless (not cottages/huts/tents) so.not the style we necessarily wanted - but to be in THE best location for the Falls, then difficult to beat this). The rooms are modern and very comfortable - just like any good international hotel. Small balconies/terraces also feature with views thru the trees of sunsets over the Zambezi or the giraffe/zebra/impala roaming the grounds. A great place to relax after a safari holiday and pop into the Falls anytime you like!

The Royal Livingstone is a treat in which to stay, and it is one of our favorite places in the world! Sunset on the deck overlooking the Zambezi river and listening to Victoria Falls run with hippos calling in the distance is one of my favorite experiences. The food is excellent (that breakfast buffet never ends!), the people are caring and attentive, and having zebras and giraffes stroll by during breakfast on the lawn cannot be beat!! We love walking to the Falls, and we get free entry to the Falls being guests at the hotel. It is luxurious, clean, and classy!!

This place is simply magical!!! I was here 17 years ago. When my husband said we could get married anywhere in the world, I knew exactly where it had to be. It did not disappoint. The service surpasses anything else. Gift, the manager here, is beyond accommodating. Ethel, the senior events executive on site went above and beyond. She insured we had animals at the wedding and suggested we go to the falls for more photos. She did things I didn’t even know where possible. Edward, a fantastic employee here, got my son his matching outfit. The food is delicious, the service is top notch, and the setting is beyond words. Every day we were greeting by zebras, giraffes and monkeys. Thank you! Thank-you! For making a special day, even that more special.
