Amazing hotel, inside out. Every aspect of this establishment is thought through. The interior design is spectacular and you feel like you’re in a movie. Bulgari Hotel London

This time I came to London and stayed at the Magnificent, the Fragmented Shangri-La, the Horse Guards and the Bulgari. The rooms in this 1,500-pound hotel had no highlights at all. I really felt like I was paying an IQ tax! Moreover, the air conditioner was very noisy, there was dust on the table, and even the pens had no refills. Several others have their own characteristics. Bulgari is not recommended.

Let’s talk about the advantages first. The decoration and design of this hotel are indeed pretty good. The environment is mainly orange. Although the overall area is small, it is very harmonious and warm. In addition, the price-performance ratio is excellent, and everything is new. It also comes with a small kitchen and refrigerator, which allows you to have more freedom in life while controlling the price. These were also the reasons why I chose here in the first place, and they have basically come true. But unexpectedly and unfortunately, the service here, mainly the front desk service, is not as good as one would like. I had read some negative reviews before and thought it was a probability event, but I didn't expect it to actually happen. When we arrived on the first day, the front desk first said that our room charge was unsuccessful and we could not check in. But I actually paid the full amount for the reservation in November. Then the front desk gave me a room in the basement that didn't have a kitchen and didn't meet the agreement. After I found out, I negotiated with the front desk, and the front desk said that I could only change rooms the next day. But after talking to Ctrip, they quickly assigned me a vacant room with a kitchen on the same day. In addition, we booked four nights, but the room card expired on the third night. The front desk insisted that we had only booked three nights and had to move out immediately (on the first day of check-in, another front desk said it was four nights). ). After that, I had to contact Ctrip again to negotiate, and then changed my mind and updated the room card for us. We don’t know whether these problems come from the communication between the agent and the hotel, or the possible differential treatment by the hotel itself. Ctrip's response was reliable and fast, helping us solve the problem within half an hour. I hope that people in the future will be mentally prepared for the possibility of such a thing, although it may not have any actual impact.
Kingston Lodge Hotel

We had to leave very unexpectedly, but did find the hotel a little run down looking from the outside. We had arrived early and the room was ready, but we could only check in early for an extra charge which we declined, as we were going out anyway so just left our bags in the car. The room was supposed to be an executive room however, it was like any other room we had ever stayed in so don’t know what was executive about it. Tea tray was a bit stingy with 1 packet of biscuits between 2 of us (1 biscuit each). Only 4 milk cartons, but plenty of tea and coffee sachets. The bathroom had nice shower gel and lotion supplied with plenty of towels but, also had blue insulation tape on the radiator and the ceiling above the bath was peeling it all looked a little tired. The room was clean and perfectly comfortable, but definitely lacked that added luxury that I thought we had upgraded to with executive. Maybe that was my own fault not checking exactly what the difference was between normal and executive aside from the price. Sadly, our trip was cut short with an emergency, so we never got to stay overnight or sample the breakfast.

Some hiccups during checkin. We specified in our booking that we have 2 kids. We even stated their ages. When we arrived, they said booking is only made for 2 adults. I showed them everything I have to prove my booking. They said we used a 3rd party agent to book (ie trip.com). The agent made a mistake and we should talk to them. (What???? ) But they will do me a favour and do the talking… ?? (Doing me a favour like I did sth wromg??). In the end they upgrade us to a family suite, adding that it could be for 1 night only, they may require us to move and bla bla bla….. Yes you upgraded me but so what! Your staff’s attitude is the whole problem. I used a 3rd party agent, but it’s a company you approved of. When problems arise you blame it on customer?! I gave a 2/5 for service simply bcoz of the upgrade.
