I paid $2425 to stay here for four nights. That's $606 a night. What I could have gotten for $606 a night! This place is to be AVOIDED! The beds are sunken as if the spring mattresses are from 1970. The AC didn't work (a common issue in the reviews) and I was offered a portable AC unit as a solution. The portable AC required the sliding window be open to vent out the water condensation and vent in air. The team didn't seal the rest of the gapped window which made for very unrestful sleep. My room faced Edgware road which becomes very loud on the weekends with racing cars and motorcycles. Additionally, the room had black mold in the shower stall, ripped carpet, ripped wallpaper, and doors that slam shut. A very disappointing stay. Marriott should be ashamed to put their name on this hotel. Whoever the operator is must be making a fortune - clearly none of the revenue has gone into updates. The location of this hotel is what initially drew me in - Paddington, Marble Arch, Marylebone, Baker Street, Hyde Park. Don't make my mistake - there's a Hyatt up the street.

The hotel is well located, and rooms are spacious. However the housekeeping staff seems to be outsourced and leave much to be desired. Our rooms were serviced only by 3. 30-4 pm, sometimes we had to return to an unserviced room and call housekeeping. The quality of room cleaning could be improved. The breakfast was good, but the choices were limited, and repetitive. The staff in the restaurant were very attentive and helpful.
