Premier Inn London Southwark (Bankside)

Less than 5 minutes to walk to London Bridge station and 3 minutes to Borough Market. It's not fancy but clean and cozy.

Just enjoyed a weekend stay with my daughter at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the cooked breakfast was delicious and the rooms were clean and very comfortable. Also, it feels very secure at night as they close the big gates. Will definitely stay here again.

There were no rooms for early check in available. The price we paid for what was considered a double room was disgraceful, we were in room 302 which was a rather small corner room, the bath was small which was hard to use given the ceiling was at an angle (im 6ft 2") Air conditioning was non existent, very poor. Especially given as it wasn't working we could only slightly pull the window up to get some air into what was a box room. We were not told the large gates were locked after a certain time so when we came back from our event we didn't know where to go to get let into the premises. Overall the communication was poor. We were disturbed by cleaning staff before we were due to check out, of which my partner was still asleep and was woken.

I am very overwhelmed by the staff behaviour. Customer service is really great. It is already the second time in this hotel and I always come back due to the comfortably environment. The rooms are very well kept and for any issues they don’t hesitate solving it.

This hotel is a real gem, quietly tucked away, ensuring a restful nights sleep, but close to the Globe theatre, River Thames and Borough Markets in a brilliant location.

My daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel was so well placed, there is so much going on around the hotel and very easy to access the underground. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel room was clean and comfortable. We only ate breakfast in the hotel but there was enough choice of continental and cooked foods. Will definitely book to stay again next time we come, we had a great time!

Well situated, comfortable hotel. Excellent position for our visit to The Globe theatre. Quiet, despite being in a busy area very close to Borough Market and river. Staff excellent - friendly and helpful. Breakfast good and hot. Bedroom clean and tidy. Bed comfortable.

Dingy, stinky, noisy. The nice thing about it is location. Near borough mkt and Thames. Nice staff. Nasty rooms, bars dump garbages and kegs at 6-8am. Constant construction.

First trip to London so we wanted something central but not too expensive. We were recommended the Bankside Premier Inn for the location and that is its best feature. The hotel is basic but it has everything you need and even though there was a construction site next door and a bar in front, it was surprisingly quiet at night. The beds are very comfortable. Big tick for value in central London… but it’s probably 3-star (we stayed in a Premier Plus room). The room was also very spacious for a central city hotel.
