Hotels near Lourdes Baths, Lourdes

The lady at the reception was absolutely fantastic. She was extremely helpful polite and very accommodating. 10/10. I'm sorry I didn't get her name. But she was just great!!! The rooms are more basic than you could imagine. Bedding was well made and clean. Hygiene was not great elsewhere. Lack of toilet paper etc was not a great start but not a complaint. There was a ”stink” in the bathroom, I discovered it was toilet brush . The pool area was acceptable. The breakfast for €12 was ok, not fantastic. The location was a bit far from the Grotto. We had to get a taxi each night as after a day of walking in the town centre the walk uphill was too much for any if us. The overall facilities are in need of repairs and an option to purchase a box of basic items would have been good, such as coffee butter milk etc.

The service was good, the facilities were good, but I had not two beds as planned, but a large bed. At the end of the stay, no fruits for breakfast, replace with a conserved fruit salad, the winemakers too cooked.

Quite difficult to find when arriving in a car, especially disabled. We did find a disabled place right at the top of the street, but it is very hilly. You can reserve a parking space at the hotel for a charge. When walking down the street to the hotel, do not take the first entrance into the little court yard, but the second into the reception area. Here we were greeted very warmly and the location of the hotel is excellent, near to the grotto, centre and shops. We decided to eat in the hotel the first evening and the food was very good and reasonable. The second evening to celebrate our 48th wedding anniversary from advice we are at the restaurant Alexandria, at the top of the street. Quite expensive, but the food was amazing. Breakfast the usual continental affair, though a lack of fresh fruit and a little mundane. It is also well worth taking the little white tourist train, which you board down in the centre, but also stops right outside the hotel and stops at various places including the candle factory. Our accessible room although with a hugh wet room, was really quite bleak with no view or adequate shelving in the bathroom. The bed was comfy, but far too low and following a recent knee operation, was a nightmare to arise from and although on the whole we enjoyed our stay, I was definitely glad to leave it after three nights.

Just returned from 3 nights and 4 days staying at the Alba. It wasnt our first time visiting Lourdes but it was our first time staying at this hotel. This will absolutely be the only place we stay from here on whenever we come back to Lourdes. The toilet and shower room are spotless and cleaned daily (unless you put the do not disturb sign on if you didnt want it cleaned everyday). The towels were crisp, white and clean and looked brand new .... plenty of towels provided and toiletries provided too. Lovely added touches! The rooms are spotlessly clean, modern and well looked after and maintained. Good air conditioning in the rooms. Only thing missing was a little fridge and maybe tea/coffee facilities but we managed without and had to just drink wine instead (🤭) The bed was so comfortable and we had such a good sleep each and everynight! Crisp white and clean bedding which shows how spotless everything was. The staff were always cheerful and helpful with anything we needed and the hotel was in a prime postion, on the banks of the river Gave, and within walking distance to the Grotto/Domain! We had a wonderful few days away in Lourdes, it is such a special and Holy place .... and staying at this hotel really helped to make it extra special ! See you next year please God. The hotel reception staff were very welcoming and also multilingual. The rooms were lovely, spacious, modern, clean and we particularly enjoyed the mountain view from the room window. However, the TV was a little small and there was no complementary tea and coffee sachets provided. There is a continental style breakfast offered, but it was slightly disappointing with not much selection and fresh fruit. The location is good and fairly near to the main sanctuary and grotto although there is reasonable distance to town centre, so be prepared to walk a bit and bring sensible footwear. There is also an airport shuttle bus near the hotel at the Paradis bus stop which drops you straight to the airport. We had a good experience on this occasion and will definitely recommend staying especially if you're looking for self-catering residence type accommodation. Thank you Zenitude

The hotel is very comfortable and clean. The bedrooms and bathrooms are nickel. Sorry that all this was disturbed by the ”bordel” caused by Spanish-language children who played in the corridors until midnight by laying the doors with grooms and who left the hotel the next day at 5 p.m. without doing any work Also attention to noise. So what to sleep well without being able to do it .....

The hotel is well located in the centre close to shops, restaurants and about 1.1km from the grotto (10-12 mins walk) The staff are very friendly and very welcoming especially Chris, Thiago and Fatima. It would be nice to be welcomed as an Accor member. Chris was super friendly and suggested things to do and see. Breakfast each morning was decent and did the job. It consist of croissants, pastries, cakes, yoghurt, cold cuts, cheese, marmalade etc with fresh cafe and selection of coffee too. The breakfast is more continental so don’t expect a full fledged breakfast (you pay what you get) The rooms are nice and clean. The rooms have international travel plug attached; very handy. Each day my room was serviced, it was spotless( thanks to an amazing housekeeping team). It would be good to see a coffee/ tea/ kettle in the room for easy access. Bed was super comfortable and had a good sleep the rest of the 2 nights I stayed, the first night of sleep was miserable (doors slamming, the walls are thin hence you can hear the communication and telly in the other rooms, kids screaming up till 1am). The phone in the room didn’t work, I could not even ask for a room move that time of the night.As I was out most of the time it didn’t bother me much but someone who has sleep issues, could be a bit noisier at times. Ask for a room at the back(tough you might be woken up at 530am with noise from the kitchen fans). There is no food available onsite so if you need to grab a bite, takeaway is your best bet(there’s a chipper across the street and a kebab place). The meals served are ready to eat and needs a microwave to heat it up (not something I would like to see in an Accor brand tough ibis is a mid scale hotel). I was informed by the staff at the desk about this new policy. Overall a good experience and would recommend the ibis Lourdes hotel for a short visit.

Stayed here in july .. brilliant place to stay ..visited lourdes grotto & basillicas , this town never fails to amaze me .. so beautiful ..going again next year . First visited lourdes in 1976 helping the sick , fell in love with the place ... the grotto is amazing & the basillicas so beautiful , the torch light procession is amazing ... lourdes is a friendly town ...beautiful places to visit, food outstanding .cant wait to go back
