Without a doubt the best hotel in town - but don't expect to spend a quiet night, even though you're putting down 100 usd/night. Pros: -Very pretty and clean rooms and bathrooms. -Friendly and forthcoming service. -Drop off and pickup from airport included -Drop off and pickup from town on a daily basis. -Decent English and Asian breakfast. Cons: -The cabin-style rooms give the impression of privacy, but in fact you hear everything around. It is baffling that somebody who intends to build a luxury hotel, would not plan for better isolation. You hear the music and karaoke from the bar at the bottom of these hill, anybody yelling for whatever reason within 500m, people from neighboring cabins if they are not respectful... and then the usual dogs, roosters, cats, and public announcements with music -”there is no bread for breakfast because we weren't delivered any this morning” -”you can't pay by credit card because the machine is not working” (for weeks) -”there is a bar but it is closed right now because there are few guests” Conclusion: This hotel can only ask for 100usd because it is the only fancy place in town. The cons listed above are not the end of the world, but it really shouldn't be the case given price and reputation. Value for money is better at a 150.000 lak in town (eg Maneechan)

The owner is super-helpful and speaks good english. Our first stay first room was fine. Our second stay second room had poor screens and we were bitten to death. The restaurant is nothing impressive, don't bother with espresso drinks. In conclusion, the place is average super-cheap Laos, but you always have to check screens, A/C, and for towels. I would have given it three stars but the owner is super-accommodating (e.g. allowed us to rent bicycles for 1/2 day not normally offered). PLEASE NOTE you can avoid plastic pollution by refilling from cooler at checkin desk and NOT using the plastic water bottles provided in room.

The room was well prepared and very clean. This place has an unrelated underground city in the lobby as a feature. Many passengers are mainly Chinese tourists who add a lot of unnecessary sounds, such as slamming the door loudly or shouting in the corridor. The Internet is almost non-existent, because the bandwidth is very limited, I automatically update the data at night. The location of the hotel is great, especially the ability to park on the roadside is a very important aspect for me. The room is spacious and clean enough to be worth its price. Will be back anytime.

Sorry to give a bad review but my room was dark, dirty and smelled bad. The water would not drain away in the wet room shower, leaving a pool of water in the bathroom and the smell was very bad. I only paid 400 Baht though as I just wanted a place to rest overnight. The more expensive rooms are likely much better. One concern is that I found someone else's medicine in my bed in the morning when I was checking for items I left, so I'm a bit concerned that maybe the sheets weren't changed from the last guest..but I'm hopefully completely wrong about that. The walls are very thin and the doors heavy. I could hear what the next room was saying and they were in and out of the room constantly, banging the door each time (not the hotel fault, but if the building wasn't so old, it wouldn't be so noisy). It does have off-street parking though (but not covered), which put my mind at ease about parking my bike.

The hotel is located in the urban area, and the traffic is acceptable. Basically, taxis or tuk-tuks are used for transportation. It is about 500-600 meters away from the urban bus station. The living functions are acceptable.
