Well located and nice lobby. The all day coffee machine was broken but I did enjoy the gratis bubbles in the afternoon .
The room was pretty small but efficient but my big complaint were the large number of teeny ants..I first noticed them on the floor by the bed then again in the corner of the bathroom floor by the shower.
Kind of grossed me out but other than that a fine stay.

The staff couldn’t have been kinder or more helpful. The property is so unique and we loved our loft room that had plenty of space for our family of 5. Highly recommend taking the bikes they have available to ride around the city. One of our trip highlights!

This place is a little gem in the Historic centre of Luca
Great dinning and perfect location for walk the old town.
This hotel is quiet at night.
The staff is outstanding, very helpful with everything!

The staff is the best part of the hotel. Every one is pleased to make suggestions and seems genuinely proud to be working there. Most are longtime employees. Moreover, the included breakfast is excellent and likewise served with care and pride. I will always return to Hotel Ilaria.

Great hotel, comfortable rooms. It is well located for all that Lucca has to offer. Happy hour complementary prosecco, beer & snacks. A good breakfast selection. Bikes that you can use to get about or simply cruise around the city walls. A couple more English TV channels would have been nice. Helpful in booking restaurants.

Best hotel in Lucca! We went on our honeymoon to Lucca and ended up in this extraordinary hotel. Beautiful rooms, but the breakfast is something extra. It’s placed inside the city walls and has just a short walking distance to all the good restaurants. The morning promenade is perfect to take on the city’s defense wall. I really recommend this hotel!

Excellent hotel located within walking distance to all major attractions in Lucca. It’s accommodations are excellent since we stayed at the Residenza Dell’ Alba. Room are very clean and appointed. Hotel staff is wonderful and offers good breakfast. Recommended.

Beautiful hotel with a staff that cares. The room was well decorated with a comfortable bed and a great bathroom. The terrace is large and away from the pace of the city. You can enjoy a glass of wine or take your breakfast there. The breakfast is lovely and you have so many options. This is the second time I have stayed there and they continue to be excellent.

A lively long weekend away with a friend in Lucca. Hotel Ilaria was perfect- great location just off the city walls and easy walking distance to the main sites, restaurants and shops. Room was clean and well appointed with a well stocked mini bar and tea/ coffee making facilities. Breakfast offered a good selection of continental options plus hot bacon and scrambled/ boiled eggs. In addition there was a daily complimentary refreshment bar available to guests offering hit and cold soft drinks, pastries and biscuits throughout the afternoon. During the early evening this was supplemented by complimentary Prosecco and nibbles- what’s not to like?!! Staff were friendly and accommodating at all times. A real little gem which I would return to. I visited as part of a BA city break and was impressed by the value for what was on offer. I would also recommend the Restaurant Gli Orti di Via Elisa just around the corner from the hotel- great value, delicious food, attentive staff in lovely surroundings without being pretentious.
