Hotels near Fuochi d＇artificio 1 agosto, Lugano

Check in was easy, really nice receptionist, room was super clean, I had like 5 towels. Sopa and body wash was provided, at lwast 5 sockets, really nice and comfy room.

I stayed only one night as my preferred hotel was fully booked and I was forced into hotel city lugano. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was the kindest I have ever encountered anywhere in the world. Sure the decor isnt anything to praise and they dont have room service or other basics but it is clean and efficient. I have to say one more time that the staff here is just amazing, every single one of them. I would recommend this hotel.

We spent one night here on our way back from Italy. Experienced a nice reception - even before we arrived in person. Also parking was reserved on request. The house is well restored, clean, quiet and lies next to the center of Giubiasco with supermarkets, restaurants, bakeries all around. It must be even more charming in the summer or winter season. We enjoyed the stay as well as the breaktfast-buffet.

If you are booking a luxury hotel in Lugano, there is no other option for me. While it’s not right in the middle of the City, it’s in a nice and quiet area and the 10-15 minute walk to the city is great for settling the stomach after eating to much pizza. The grounds are simply stunning, the views are amazing, the breakfast buffet is not amazing but very good (Although the woman who seat you could smile a bit more, all the other staff at breakfast are great). The private Lido is awesome. I will never stay at another hotel in Lugano for our annual summer trip, it has won my loyalty for life.

+ Panorama Room is nicely renovated, well decorated. High quality interior (eg nice bar cabinet, closet with good coat hangers…) + bed is excellent + size was good to stay with 2 adults + 2 kids (we stayed only one night) + hygiene is top, everything is super clean + staff is very helpful (guided us well to visit Como and find restaurants) + location is quite peaceful: not too touristic, charming square across the street. But not the ideal location if you want to experience Lake Como directly. It takes a 15min drive to get there (which is’t so far away, but I guess there are plenty of accommodations that are located at the lake itself) - bathroom not renovated - there is paking just near the hotel, but it’s a blue zone (free parking for 1 hour). Everything else is Payable We did not experience the restaurant but it looks like a fine option to eat, so that is definitely an added value

We stayed here for 1 night whilst travelling from the UK to Italy. Our stay did not start well unfortunately. We arrived in the middle of some roadworks outside the hotel and in the surrounding area. Coupled with the fact that we had a roofbox on our car, reception suggested that we entered the hotel car park via a different entrance rather than the one a short distance from reception on the hotel grounds. The receptionist wasn't very aware of the roadworks and proceeded to vaguely show me on the map how to get to the other car park entrance. It was clear she did not know and actually told me the wrong way! It took me 25 mins to find the correct route to the car park entrance due to the deviations, roadworks and traffic! Not a great start. Next, I arrived at the room that we had been allocated - I had booked a deluxe room (for 3 people through hotels.com) - this was not a deluxe room, although much bigger it was a ground floor apartment with 2 separate bedrooms with no air conditioning and a lounge a couple of short corridors away from the bedrooms which did have air conditioning! Bearing in mind the daytime temperatures at the time were 33-34 degrees, we were not going to have a good night sleep! Back to reception to complain, initially saying that they did not have any other rooms left however they did eventually offer us a deluxe room with air conditioning that fed nicely into the main bedroom - that is all we wanted and what I had actually booked! They set up a third bed in the room for my daughter, problem solved! Location was very good with excellent views of the lake, a 10-15 mins walk into the centre which was fine for us. Buffet breakfast was excellent, we chose to sit outside on a lovely terrace with lake views. Service was very good. We then used the outside pool facilities and loungers until mid afternoon - again all excellent, clean, lovely pool, and when we left, we were sad that we could only stay for 1 night! In the end the room problems were resolved, the morning receptionists providing us with a free drink in the bar for the inconveniences caused however it could have been avoided if I had been given the room that I had booked from the start and better training should be given to the receptionists so that they know exactly what instructions to give to clients on how to reach the hotel car park. Would I stay here again? Yes, I would.

The accommodation is top in all areas. The only thing that has irritated us a little at the beginning is the unused reception. Check in online, but it has super hit. We could get into the room at 1400 instead of 1500. Because we wanted separate beds, and these were only in the higher category, we were simply ”upgraded”, just top. Also the extra bed for our 5-year-old daughter was mega comfortable. It was all very clean and the daily cleaning was Super. We are and were just excited. We will certainly come back. [Suitenhotel Paco Paradiso] (Lugano Station) The hotel is not at Lugano train station, closer to the next stop Paradiso. Out of the train station, you need to push the luggage to go uphill, walk 15-20min, very tiring. The hotel is built on the hillside and on the mountain, so Lobby is on the 2nd floor. And we booked the terrace room, in the PL floor, lawn, recliner, lake view, sunset... After all, it belongs to the Italian-speaking area, so the staff looks more like a passionate Italian. When checking in, there will be a welcoming welcome drink and a coupon to print the name of the occupant. The blonde glasses sister at the front desk will send us to the room and introduce the hotel facilities and opening hours all the way. At the moment of opening the door, I was shocked. The room area is not limited to the 24 square meters marked on the website. It is so big... Once the bedroom is in another room, the living room will be very spacious. The large writing desk is convenient for me to open the computer to process the mail. In the living room, two pull-down children's beds are hidden, which is suitable for a family of four. Slippers, shampoo and hair care kits, hotel amenities. The automatic flushing smart cover is installed in the toilet bowl. Compared to the balcony room upstairs, the room with its own garden terrace feels more like a house, lake view, and unobstructed view. Gym, sauna, bar, nightlife, choice. The first 2 items are free. When checking out, in addition to the room fee paid by the ctrip guarantee to the store, an additional tax is required: City tax: 8.8 CHF Tourist tax: 3.4 CHF Inform the front desk, you can call the taxi (Taxi) to the train station at any time. We thought we would send it to the nearest Paradiso train station. No, the driver sent us directly to the more Lugano station, 20min, and went downhill. This hotel (197 CHF/night, excluding breakfast) is more suitable for leisure vacations. Sign up at the hotel front desk for activities: mountain climbing, culture and art. When you leave, go to Foxtown and sweep the goods.

Hôtel charmant dans un cadre ravissant. Personnel souriant et attentionné. Chambre équipée de tout le confort nécessaire, avec de surcroît un joli balcon. Très bon buffet petit-déjeuner. Une petite mésaventure m’est arrivée dans cet hôtel : j’ai malencontreusement oublié dans ma chambre une pochette contenant mes foulards favoris. Lorsque je m’en suis aperçue, j’ai pris contact avec la réception, et mes précieux foulards m’ont été promptement renvoyés. Je remercie tous les membres de l’équipe pour leur gentillesse et leur professionnalisme !

Súper decent hotel outstanding staff my stay here with my family was wonderful and comfortable. The best thing about a vacation is to rest well and have a delicious breakfast and this hotel has it all, a first class service, with high quality care, I have to mention what caught my attention the most was the hygiene at breakfast time is very Important for me. I don't have many photos but I do have videos that I can't upload here from the hotel but I have it on my Instagram karol__0729….Very satisfied with our stay, just need to implement the parking
