This hotel has pluses and minuses. I booked it for the price and Lake view. Most to the reviews here are correct in some ways. The old owner does walk around smoking a cigar (mostly in the restaurant downstairs), and his baby photos are everywhere. It's a bit creepy. However, we found our room to be very clean and comfortable AND we had a balcony with the promised lake view which was spectacular! We also had a bathtub, which you don't find often in the mid-range hotels. It was clean and the water nice and hot, although the drain didn't work well. The thick glass doors kept the noise out at night and we slept well. We found the hotel perfectly safe. Good thing we didn't read the rest of these reviews before booking! I wouldn't recommend Lord Tillingdon's restaurant below the hotel however; the food and wine were so-so and too expensive for what we got.

Le bâtiment devait être magnifique en son temps. Malheureusement, son état actuel démontre le peu d'investissement et le peu d'intérêt des propriétaires à lui redonner son éclat d'antan. Le cadre et la vue sont magnifique. Le prix attractif, mais ne pas dormir pendant 3 nuits ne vaut pas ce prix. La fenêtre ne se fermait pas bien. De la techno se faisait entendre jusqu'à 2h00 du matin et des filles de joies toquaient aux portes. Merci au cabaret appartenant à l'hôtel. Tout le négatif mentionné avant moi est vrai. Le personnel pas souriant ni accueillant. Voir la police le matin en partant n'était pas surprenant. Et là, je ne vous parle pas de l'état de chambres. Les photos sur leur site n'a rien à voir avec la réalité, ni le petit-déjeuner d'ailleurs. Il y a un moment où il faut arrêter de se moquer des consommateurs.2

A fuir absolument ! Nous avons choisi l hôtel pour une halte vers l Italie et pour la vue. Le pire hôtel dans lequel j ai séjourné. Accueil très froid , la propreté laissait fortement à désirer : la SDB sentait l humidité, chambre et balcon très mal entretenus, décoration de très mauvais goût, petit-déjeuner très minimaliste avec les oiseaux qui viennent partager votre assiette. Dommage qu un si beau bâtiment soit si mal tenu ! Aucun restaurant valable dans les environs . Juste horrible !! Les photos du site n ont rien à voir avec la réalité !

Hotel vecchio e senza stile, molto lasciato andare. Colazione scarsa, molto scarsa, giusto un caffè, del latte freddo, pane, brioche, marmellata, tutti prodotti rigorosamente confesionati e di scarsa qualità. Chi ci ha accolto non ci ha detto che pagando la tassa di soggiorno avevamo diritto a dei biglietti dei treni gratis e sconti per i mezzi pubblici e trasporti turistici. Per la posizione ok, lungo lago Paradiso.

Pour passer 2 nuit en famille et visiter c est bien Il faut pas s attendre a quelque chose de luxueux le bâtiment ancien donne un petit peu l impression d’être dans les année 60/70 Nous avons pas eu chambre face au lac Ce n est pas le plus important quand on a besoin de dormir

L'hotel è antico ed ha una bella veduta ma nelle camere e nelle zone comuni c'è forte odore di fumo, per non parlare che fino alle 5 di mattino c'era una musica forte che abbiamo scoperto la mattina seguente venisse dal night club sotto l'hotel. Non ci tornerei

Zentrales Hotel, ein Sprung in alten Zeit, erinnert mich dieses Hotel an die prachtvolle Kolonialkultur Englands. Sehr nettes Personal und ruhig, trotz der zentralen Lage, im Viertel Paradiso. Sehr schön ist der Ausblick im Frühstücksraum, direkt auf den See.

Hotel is actually really old. Bedrooms are very simple and we can see that the place is not well kept. Everything looks cheap and not changes for years and years (room doesn’t seem so comfy, minibar has been removed but there is still the logo and the whole decoration is so old and not well maintained). There is also a cigarette smell all over the hotel from the reception to the floors. I would say the highlights of the place are: nice view from the lake view bedroom, double-glazed windows (very calm), easy room service, easy access (5 min by bus to center) and adorable and kind employees always super helpful. However, it super disappointing to have such a beautiful building not well maintained, left alone and badly exploited.

Location confortevole, pulita,personale attento e professionale, camera silenziosa e pulita, avevo scelto camera fumatori con terrazzo sul lago, una magia per il periodo natalizio. Colazione inclusa e abbondante. Parcheggio riservato proprio davanti all' hotel. Ho dormito molto bene anche se per una notte!!!
