Madison Properties in Luoyang

I initially booked a different hotel in Luoyang, but upon seeing the surrounding area, I wasn't happy with the environment. So I canceled that booking and booked this hotel instead. This hotel is newly renovated, shares a floor with an Atour hotel, and was quite clean. However, there were two significant downsides. Firstly, it being summer, I was sweating a lot and headed to the laundry room at 7 PM. To my astonishment, there were already over 10 laundry baskets queued up. Even when I checked again past midnight, one person was still hogging three washing machines, each running for over an hour. That was absolutely ridiculous! I ended up having to get up extra early the next morning to do my laundry. My second gripe concerned the breakfast. As a Huazhu Club 'experience member', breakfast was not included in my stay. They asked me to pay 49 RMB to upgrade to a special membership so my family of three could have breakfast. The price wasn't exorbitant, and we merely intended to have a quick meal before heading out. However, after paying and entering the restaurant, we discovered there was no one checking for paid access; anyone could simply walk in and eat breakfast. I felt quite misled and ripped off.
