"1. First, I suggest the hotel removes air fresheners from the rooms. Only budget hotels use them to mask odors. 2. I was given a room that was still being cleaned upon check-in. I had to wait outside in over 30-degree Celsius heat for more than 20 minutes. There was no emergency plan or special handling. A simple room swap to a similar or better room type would have sufficed. Instead, the 'emergency solution' was a room on an inferior floor, which I was moved into without any prior inspection after cleaning. Water stains were still visible in the room and on the balcony. 3. The refrigerator smelled of leftover food. The 'mini-bar' consisted of just one Fanta and one Sprite, which I wouldn't drink anyway. 4. The shower room design is flawed. There's nowhere to hang towels outside the shower stall. For a twin room with two people showering, there's no consideration for privacy. 5. The room directly faces the high-speed rail tracks. High-speed trains roar past around midnight and 7 AM. 6. The prices fluctuate greatly; booking later can actually be cheaper. 7. The breakfast is, at best, worth 68 yuan, but the advertised price is a huge exaggeration. 8. The complimentary surfing lesson needs clearer instructions and improved teaching quality. It should be clear how many people are in a 'one-to-many' session. It's definitely not worth 298 yuan."

"Traveling with family, we're leaving Hainan today, and this was our son's favorite hotel on the island tour. It's close to the beach and offers a variety of games and activities, with plenty of options for sea sports. We booked both sea-view and garden-view rooms, and both were comfortable and spacious – a hit with both the elders and the kids. The breakfast spread was diverse, and the dinner restaurant served really delicious food; our friends even praised it when we had a gathering. Room service was excellent; anything we needed was delivered within minutes, and amenities were replenished daily. Mile handled everything with great care and attention to detail, even surprising our child with a cake. Thumbs up! 👍"

"Choosing the Sheraton Shenzhou Peninsula for our vacation was truly an unexpectedly wonderful experience, definitely five stars! The hotel's location is superb, directly facing the vast ocean. Opening the window reveals the azure sea and soft sandy beach, and the sunset views are even more stunning – every photo taken is a picturesque, atmospheric shot. The resort grounds are meticulously maintained, with tropical greenery everywhere, making walks around the property pleasant and rejuvenating. The guest rooms are clean and tidy, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and all facilities are complete and well-maintained. The bathroom amenities are of good quality, ensuring a very peaceful and comfortable stay. A special shout-out to Peter, whose service was attentive and thoughtful throughout. From confirming information before check-in to recommending local attractions and food spots, he responded promptly to any questions and patiently helped us resolve issues, which was incredibly heartwarming. The hotel also boasts a rich array of amenities."

"Fantastic! The overall experience was excellent. The customer service was incredibly enthusiastic – a special shout-out to our butler, Kim! There were lots of activities, though we didn't get to do any of them. 😁 The hotel's private beach was also not crowded. While it doesn't have the grand lobby of a Westin, and the breakfast selection isn't huge, and the toiletries are a nightmare for someone who hates cilantro, I still felt incredibly comfortable staying there. So much so that even now, staying at the Grand Hyatt in Wanning, I really miss the service at Le Méridien. (If I had to choose again, I'd still prefer Le Méridien.) Oh, and Le Méridien has more shuttle bus services to Sanya Duty-Free than the Grand Hyatt too!"

"Whenever I'm on Shenzhou Peninsula, I always stay at the Four Points by Sheraton. It offers great value for money. The hotel has its own beach, which is perfect for photoshoots, especially with Zhouzai Island directly opposite and the Shenzhou Peninsula lighthouse in the distance. Both in the morning and at sunset, it's an excellent spot for pictures. The beach is spacious, great for a morning run. The grounds are beautiful, with natural garden landscapes and plenty of activities for children, including a pool playground, an outdoor activity park, and an indoor playground. In the evening, you can relax at the beach bar, listen to music, and enjoy the breeze – a perfect example of a slow-paced lifestyle. Dining is also very convenient; a taxi ride of less than ten yuan takes you to the Shenzhou Peninsula Food Paradise, where you'll find a wide variety of options like BBQ, 'zaopo cu' (vinegar-marinated seafood), and other seafood dishes. There's plenty to choose from; just pick a place that's busy and you won't go wrong. Our hotel butler, Ella, contacted us in advance. She was incredibly enthusiastic and helped us finalize our itinerary and room. What truly stood out was her effort to ensure we could stay in the same room as our previous visit, which is a fantastic service. They keep records, so as long as the room is available, you can re-book your favorite one. I will definitely continue to stay here in the future."

"After a lot of online comparisons, I looked at many hotels and finally chose the Grand Hyatt Shenzhou Peninsula. We stayed for three nights, and both the adults and children were incredibly happy and loved it. The entire hotel has a strong Southeast Asian style, with all villa buildings (there's a shuttle service within the hotel for convenient transport). As soon as you enter, the vacation vibe hits you. The entrance pathway especially reminded me of the W Hotel in Bali – it's hard not to like it. The hotel's breakfast is incredibly rich, offering both Chinese and Western options, and served until 10:45 AM, which is very friendly for those who struggle to wake up early. All the hotel staff are exceptionally polite and have excellent service attitudes. Additionally, the hotel has indoor and outdoor swimming pools, though the kids preferred swimming outdoors. In the evenings, there's live music, and swimming while listening to songs is truly wonderful. The beach is right across the road from the hotel, and I personally think it's better than the Westin's beach. About 100 meters to the right of the hotel entrance is Alamauna Town, which is very convenient for dining, though the prices are comparable to Shanghai – not cheap, but still a joy to try local delicacies. It's also very convenient to get to Xinglong Town and Dong'ao Town from the hotel. Choosing the Grand Hyatt definitely won't disappoint."

"This time the hotel wasn't very busy, so I didn't have to wait for my room. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially asking about my check-in preferences. In the afternoon, when I was heading out, I even saw a big mascot in the lobby who interacted with me, which made my stay feel super nice. There were also little squirrels, super cute! This whole experience was fantastic, and I really appreciate such thoughtful service. The price wasn't high either, making it excellent value for money!"

"The hotel room was basically clean, and the beach was within walking distance. The pool was quite large, but with people trying out paddleboarding and surfing, it felt a bit crowded and chaotic for kids to swim in. The hotel's second phase is still under renovation, and you could clearly hear the sound of drills near the pool, starting promptly at 8 AM. The guests next door and their children were noisy until midnight, but a call to the front desk resolved the issue promptly. Upon check-out the next day, they even offered small lotions as an apology. The uploaded picture shows the sea view from the room for reference."

"Our stay was one of the most memorable we’ve had in Hainan. The hotel has a unique South African style, beautiful design, and everything is very well maintained with high-quality furnishings. The swimming pool is clean and large enough for real swimming. The local breakfast noodles were delicious and the coffee was also very good. Service was excellent. The receptionist was incredibly patient from the start and went above and beyond to show us all the room options and help us find the one that suited us best. It’s also very pet friendly. The location is convenient—about a 10-minute drive to most places. The hotel even arranged a complimentary photo session. The photographer was patient and friendly, and helped us capture many beautiful memories. One small suggestion, for the private in-room Jacuzzi pool, there isn’t a shower head or sprayer to rinse it down. Only a large faucet to fill it. It would feel much cleaner and more comfortable if a handheld shower were provided for rinsing before use. Everything else was wonderful, but this little improvement would make the experience feel more hygienic and even more relaxing. We would absolutely love to return and highly recommend it to others."

"Originally planned to surf in the sea, but opted for China Travel Surfing considering safety concerns. It turned out to be a complete and unexpected surprise! This place is much bigger than I imagined, and the landscaping is meticulously designed – thankfully, there are golf carts on call, which is super convenient. The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and patient. The room was clean and tidy, and the double sinks in the bathroom were a huge plus for me. Breakfast served until 1:30 PM is perfect for us late risers. The surf pool is much more beginner-friendly than the actual beach, and the coach was excellent; I managed to stand on the board on my very first try! I'll definitely be back~"
