Outstanding! Service, food, room, spa!! Just everything. Deffo one I'll be visiting again. I took my hubby for his 40th he was able to play a round of golf whilst I rested in the spa and the following day we spa'd together. There enough thing ls to keep yourself busy but plenty of places to rest and relax too l.

Beautiful house, very attentive staff, great facilities, huge bedrooms, lovely homely feel, fabulous golf & spa facilities, surrounded by beautiful woodland. We really felt like we were looked after the whole stay. Excellent value for money and ideal for couples, families or friends. There really is something for everyone.

The Junior suite had no air con, the fans provided were broken. The toilet did not flush easily & when I went to reception to complain I was offered another empty room but I had to pay an extra cost for which I refused as the suite cost enough. However the spa experience was good as was the Fox restaurant.

Stayed for just one night ahead of a conference. I was in Room 6, which had a bedroom on the floor above the lounge area, and a bathroom downstairs. Check-in was easy and a short walk to the courtyard where the room (more like a small chalet) was. I wasn't expecting much from this place, I knew it was mostly a golf/sports retreat, but I was very impressed (and I have very high standards - see my other 200 reviews!). Yes, its not Coworth Park or the Grove, but it's rather excellent in it's own rather unflashy way. The room isn't designer driven 'wow' - but very smart and functional, spotlessly clean, so many plug sockets I didn't know which to use, and the lighting and air conditioning perfect. The internet was super fast, and I loved the ipad thingy to order everything. Room service was fast and utterly delicious, and the bed super comfy after a nice bath in the big bathroom. There are no rooms around you (you hear nothing from the semidetached room on the other side), and the service at breakfast was super. I really wasn't expecting to be so impressed, but it goes to show that get the basics perfect and you don't need to stay at the Dorchester!

Wedding excellence We had a four night stay for my daughter’s wedding. Everything was beautifully done, the food was amazing at such a large occasion, when so often it’s bland and boring. Friendly staff and so much to do. My minor reservation is the snack food in the two cafes on site. Considering the top quality in the restaurant, the menu s in the cafes were limited and could do with an upgrade.

We returned to Foxhills for our 5th wedding anniversary and always have a wonderful time. Whilst checking in there was an extremely rude lady from room 57 who was very abusive to hotel staff who had been very accommodating to her, it was very distressing to see. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful but she was very threatening to them. She will undoubtedly leave an inaccurate review which should be disregarded as she clearly just wanted financial gain. Her primary complaint was that there were children at a family hotel… The staff (particularly Ursula) handled her outburst with professionalism. We had a wonderful stay. Staff could not have been more helpful and kind. Our room was beautiful. The spa facilities were amazing and I had a pregnancy massage which was as incredible. We will definitely be returning for our anniversary again next year!

As a guest checking in into this Hotel I was totally embarrassed at Reception a previous guest checking out. I did hear one of the girls asking the lady to brought to a private room to discuss a matter then the lady said no and she wanted every other guests who was waiting to check in to hear. I fell so sorry for your staff. I hope I will not encounter such an experience again. Apparently this lady has her own global company who should know better how to deal with respect to people and situations. Was not a great start of my stay but did not to worry I have the most amazing time and you have amazing staff and thank you Foxhills. See you soon again!

My partner and I recently stayed for a long weekend at Foxhills and absolutely loved it. The staff were amazing and the rooms were spotless. The Pavilion was spectacular, we enjoyed a morning swim and will definitely be returning with the kids. Food in XIX was amazing too.

Visited this beautiful Manor house/ holiday for our wedding anniversary. On checking the staff member was friendly and super helpful, and booked us a table for dinner she then arranged for us to be showen to our room. The room was very spacious and clean with lots of little touches such as robes slippers, and hot drinks. As we were unpacking there was a knock at our door, to our surprise the hotel had sent us a bottle of bubbles to celebrate with a card saying best wishes from all at Foxhill's ( such a lovely touch) We enjoyed all the facilities especially the spa, the massage was so relaxing, I felt like a new woman. At dinner the food was out of this world with a great meun something for everyone and all freshly prepared, the waiter was very polite and checked that everything was to our liking on each course. When we returned to our room we enjoyed a hot drink before bed. We both had the best night sleep in the superking bed. Before departing the next morning we enjoy a full English breakfast, the choice was amazing with fresh fruits, cereals, juices, and everything you could want for a hot breakfast. Can't wait to return
