Good location, the beds are comfy, clean . The windows are sealed, can't open. The room was smell really bad, smoking smell was so heavy. Even though they put non-smoking sign but can't help. So sad that the staffs didn't do enough to stop the smoking. 😪

Nice hotel located in old Macau district. Special mention for Jerry (Front Office) & Housemaid (forgot to get her name) for floor 10th during our stay - helpful & courteous. We would have had an enjoyable stay in Macau, but unfortunately, it was marred by some unethical individuals (we're not sure if they were locals or tourists) who stole our hotel-loaned umbrella right under the nose of the security guard at the Sir Robert Ho Tung Library. The umbrella was kept at their umbrella rack because it was raining during our visit. The most ridiculous part is that the security guard actually told us to file a police report on the loss! Sadly, we had to pay MOP 100 to the hotel as a penalty for the stolen umbrella. 🤦♀️😓.

Good hotel.Location is good. Though we thought their restaurant is a buffet style but still we had a good experience.

Not my first time at Metropole Hotel in Macau. And as always, for me it is the best hotel in terms of location (just a few minutes from Senado Square)and in terms of value/price. I stayed with my family and we loved our room (1009). Would definitely go here again if I'm in Macau.

Cozy and clean hotel at the center. Breakfast was Chinese style and spicy. From the hotel window, the grand Lisbao hotel can be seen. Stay again for the next time.

Clean and good highly recommended to solo and family travel

Room is good. Spacious for my whole family of 5, especially with an elderly in a wheelchair. Location is great as it is within the city centre. Walking distance towards Senado Square/Grand Lisboa/Wynn. Front Desk, the 2 guys were both rude and terrible in assisting us from the moment we checked-in until we checked-out. Breakfast is horrible. Service as well is terrible. The is a restaurant next door, Metropole 493, is also worth a try. Food and service were excellent.

The Picture is this app is different to what they gave, they gave so small room. I asked to changed but they collected additional 100$ MOP. The first two picture I will upload was on my booking online but the video I will posted was different. I add 100$ MOP for them to give me another room which I expected. Video cannot upload they gave 718 room. So upset.

Every time we check-in in this hotel we never experience aircon problem. Now we change 3 rooms but the aircon still not to cold

Very good logistic. Main tourist spot are within walking distance such as Ruin of St Paul. Upon arrival we can take the free shuttle bus from the Ferry Terminal to nearby Grand Lisboa Macau & walk to the hotel. The only things we don’t like is strong smoke smell upon arrival. Luckily the cleaner are friendly & help us to spray away the smell. This hotel provides free Tim Sum for 1 pax thought is Twin Room (very funny) so just need to top up for 1 pax in order to eat together. Portion is big enough for ladies. Anyway we save a lot of transportation in this trip.

Great location in Macau peninsula. Close to most tourist attractions. Good if you don't expect anything too fancy, decent value for money. Room decor is a bit dated and simple, but it's clean and has all essential amenities. Close nearby are several options for shopping and restaurants, also close to buses for venturing further into other areas in Macau or Hong Kong.

Pros: this hotel is very near to Senado square (3 mins walk) and the big yaohan shopping mall is diagonally across the road. Reception is friendly and helpful, no self help laundry and dryer in Metrople hotel. The famous cafe e nata egg tart is also 2 mins walk from this hotel =) Cons: No free shuttle from the ferry terminal. The hack is to take the free shuttle bus from ferry terminal to Grand Lisboa (take note there are 2 Lisboa hotel, 1 in Taipa and 1 in Cotai). You need to alight at the cotai one (should be the first stop before it crosses the bridge to taipa). However it is a 8 to 10 mins walk from Grand Lisboa to Metropole, not very convenient if you have many luggage/ kids. Hotel is also a bit old but still manageable (7/10 condition).
