The hotel is “tired”, old, dated! We had a horrible experience based on our room not locking, changed rooms and were woken up by an alarm in room next door at midnight. There is no
Overnight attendant so we had to go sleep in the other room, where the door didn’t lock. In the morning, we tried to retrieve our belongings from the room that had the alarm going, but our key wouldn’t work at 8 a.m. We had to delay our departure til an attendant arrived to let us into the room we paid for. Maybe this is why only 2 people were staying here, we were the 3rd. Don’t stay here, spend the extra money and get a descent place. Worst experience ever!

The jetted tub is the deepest, widest tub I’ve ever seen, it was great! Floor needed to be replaced! Other guests stayed out in parking lot partying till past 2-3 am! Over all, I did feel safe in my room, the front desk/concierge Man was amazing, kind and friendly! I would recommend

The staff is so friendly but sadly there were some pretty significant things that weren't discussed or made it a miserable stay. Pool is closed and in demolition and disarray, ants all over in the room, old dried soap scum on the shower walls, there was clear plastic stickers from a gift bag stuck on the sink walls, broken toilet seat, the mini fridge temperature could not be adjusted and we woke up in the morning to everything frozen inside. So much so, that a can of pop had exploded. Tiny TV and one of the chairs at the table was unsafe.

Property is dire need of ground keeper there is garbage everywhere. Was surprise also that all of the amities were not in the room.
Completely understand that this is a seasonal business that is closed for half the year.

I honestly booked this motel thinking it was one of the places close to the Mackinac Bridge. That was my mistake. When I pulled into this place I was stunned that I had screwed up this bad. Had booked on ******* (never again) and realized I had paid $300 plus for a dump. I took one look and asked for a refund. Of course they weren’t going to do it. ******* was no help. Musty smelling, clammy sheets, multiple power cords overloading an outlet, sink that wouldn’t drain, ancient light fixtures. Manager said it was one of their best rooms, if so I never want to see the average ones. When checking in I heard them offering rates at about half the rate ******* had. So no more ******* for me.

Rooms are smelly, carpet stained. We did have more than one room and both were equally bad. Only reason I stayed was family was very tired I understand places get old and used but please keep them clean I do not recommend this place to anyone unless it’s totally remodeled

Old buildings and facilities, but very clean and still decent. Would recommend for the frugal shopper. Staff was easy to work with and very friendly.
