Purity Spring Resort

We had a good stay at the hotel

This was my first visit to Purity Springs Resort, and God willing, it won't be my last. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is plenty to do, or not to do, on the grounds. I took out a kayak a few times and visited the multiple beaches that are part of the Purity property along the lake. This is my new place to vacation in from now on.

As empty nesters, Purity Spring wouldn't be a place that I'd recommend for folks like us. That said, the lodging is kind of spread out - some of the rooms are up the street from Big Pine ski area, other lodging options are closer to the ski area. Our room was spotless, but dated with a tiny 13" tv and there was no internet access and cell phone service was spotty. The staff a Purity Spring were extremely friendly, welcoming and accommodating. While we didn't bring our dogs (I would next time), they are a pet friendly resort, which I found refreshing. The shuttle between all the lodging ran pretty much constantly all day - if you have small children and want them to be able to ski, snowboard, snowtube, ice skate, cross country ski or snowshoe, this is the place for you. One downside (and this could be because it was a non holiday weekend in March and the resort was not fully booked), they only offer a buffet at the restaurant. Both times we went there, the food was disappointing, bland and cold. I know I'd be less critical of Purity Springs if I had young children and was looking for a family friendly value for a winter getaway - if that's what you are looking for, this place is for you. Oh, and although we didn't use them, the pool and hot tub facility was very nice and like the rest of the resort, spotlessly maintained.

My wife and I have been attending the Memorial Day Ballroom Dance Weekend at Purity Spring for a number of years and enjoy our time there very much. The staff is particularly friendly and helpful - they make you feel like an honored guest and a family member at the same time. In addition to dancing, there are a wide variety of activities available at the resort and plenty of things to do in the general area.

Recently stayed at Purity Spring Resort with my mother and sister. We had the best time! This place is the definition of tranquil relaxation. Not only were the grounds beautiful, but there were so many different areas to explore and enjoy. I particularly enjoyed Sunset Beach, the paddleboards and the hike to the log cabin. We enjoyed yoga with Carolann and had a very nice mountainside dinner with Bonnie our server. We have been coming here since I was a young child, and it really is the perfect setting to create memories. I can't recommend this place enough, you will leave feeling restored!

Love Purity Springs, and everything about all the people that run the resort! Great skiing at King Pine and great food at the Inn. Breakfast and Dinner. See you all in 2 weeks for another family get away Feb break.
