Room was very clean. No frills motel that is a bit dated but convenient. Loud road noise to be expected. Reasons why I rated the motel a 3 is for two reasons. First, the beds are ROCK HARD. Now I was in the military and have slept on hard beds before but these are the hardest I’ve slept on since then. Both my wife and I had a really hard time sleeping. Second, the bathroom. When showering the water kept going from hot to cold and back. But the worst thing was that my wife flushed the toilet while I was showering and the shower went to FULL HOT while the tank was refilling. Very dangerous situation. I would probably look elsewhere if staying in the area.

Great little hotel in town. The price is very reasonable and you get a clean room, nice hosts and a comfy bed. This is my 2nd time to stay here.

Everything went well. Very clean despite the hotels age. I did, however, lose the room key due to the key ring being stretched. This incurred an additional $25.00 fee.

I hope someday I can get the odor out of my nostrils and out of my clothes. What a putrid smelling piece of crap room that they have the nerve to rent. Yes I know you get what you pay for. Trying to check in and having to yell over what sounded like a daycare in the back room was my first clue. Oh well.

Greatly cleaned and nice smell in the room, beds are comfortable, bathrooms are very clean, owners were very welcoming....over all very pleasant stay! will be a to go place for Maggie Valley :)
