Abendessen mit Freunden. Essen ok und natürlich nicht preiswert. Für einen Aperol Spritz aber 13,50 Euro (kleines Glas 0,2 l) aufzurufen ist Abzocke und nicht mehr "im Rahmen" einer erträglichen Preisgestaltung. Ist mit Abstand der höchste Preis, den wir jemals für einen Aperol zahlen mussten. Auch so kann man sich Gäste vergraulen.

Si vous n’avez pas d’autre choix allez y. L’ensemble des prestations sont correctes des chambres, salle de bain et petit déjeuner. Nous sommes dans un chaîne d’hôtel sans charme ni services. J’y ai séjourné deux mois. On enchaîne les soirées d’entreprises et les cars de touriste. Et là, client lambdas vous subissez les buffets de pâtes, plus de place de parc …… Dommage

Perfect location for visiting Frankfurt or Hanau and Philippsruhe Castle. Excellent outdoor and covered hotel parking. Good breakfast. Very competitive price. Simple room with renovated bathroom and floor-level shower. the safe is missing. Dinner in the hotel at a fair price.

The hotel is relatively conveniently located, is easily accessible by public transport and has sufficient parking spaces. The staff is friendly, the hotel is clean and I have very fond memories of all the meals.

Breakfast: Prae Corona: For breakfast, there were hard-boiled eggs and scrambled eggs as well as fried eggs. And orange juice. Mid-Corona (approx. April, May 2022): Fried eggs were canceled. October 2022: Orange juice was canceled (instead there is lukewarm, still cold and sparkling cold water from a vending machine ???), scrambled eggs (3x in a row) absolutely too salty. Dinner: Prae Corona: often buffet, sometimes a la carte, but then really good. Desserts top. Mid-Corona: only a la carte, but then very good. Desserts top. October 2022: Buffet: terrible, thinned out. Desserts:? Yogurt, are you serious? Room: I was sometimes on the 4th floor. Once an outside door was replaced, the workers temporarily sealed it with foil. So it was cold in the hallway (it was around this time - October -). But the room was well heated, no problem. This time: 4th floor, outside door OK. It felt like 15 degrees in the hallway. The same in the room. So I turned on both heating valves (room + bathroom) and went downstairs for "dinner". At 10:15 p.m. a waiter came and said: "Last order, we close at 10:30 p.m." OK, no problem today, but tomorrow I'm here with my course participants (no seminar in the hotel), so it could be embarrassing. So I have to reorganize the evening. Whatever. -- Side fact: Frankfurt's Europa League final against Glasgow Rangers was definitely broadcast in every bar in Frankfurt and the surrounding area - just not here, in a hotel that has the Sky Europe logo on the banner. So I went back to the room, which was of course now nice and warm. I left the heating on. The next day it was too warm for me too. So I turned it back a bit - as they say here. On the second day it was pleasant in the room (OK, a quick airing). If you had simply made sure that the room had a pleasant atmosphere from the start, you would have saved on energy costs. All in all, I have to say: Sorry, but you won't be seeing me again any time soon.

After my complaint they gave me the room I booked. The rooms are standard, but unlike all the other hotels I have been to, the tidying up and cleaning of the room is only upon request. Even changing towels, cleaning and bathing is done only on request. At the reception they told me that the service is not guaranteed anyway. The minibar is not in the room but in the hall. To get a bottle of water you have to go down to the hall and ask because there is no dispenser and the fridge is closed with a bicycle-style lock. Breakfast offers a good choice of savory foods, but a poor choice of sweets. The staff at the reception is very young and could use a kind, polite and experienced manager..... In short, if I pay for a 4 star hotel, I expect services and quality that I did not find at the Michel hotel. I won't go back.
