Truly brilliant. Breakfast was AMAZING. The hosts are wonderful, very friendly and advise on the area. The rooms are spotlessly clean. We stayed for a week and loved the entire time. We will be returning. And if you are there for the Italian night, it's amazing as well. Arguably the best bed and breakfast I've stayed in.

We spent a few wonderful days in this beautiful accommodation - everything was perfect down to a t. Especially the gorgious breakfast with different optians was delicous and also the evenings in the cozy bar with whisky and local gin. Many thanks to Scott and Alistair for the warm welcome and good tips for our daily trips for excoursion the surrounding area. We felt very comfortable every second.

As a largish group we decided to try their Thursday evening ‘Italian feast’ which was simply superb. One should arrive hungry as there are many courses each of which is delicious. The wine choice is one red or one white. Both excellent and very well priced (we had a fair amount of each!) the only draw back is that these evenings only run between May and September. We will be back in May!

We had a fabulous couple of days staying here. Scott and Alistair were the perfect hosts, great attention to detail. They work hard! The breakfast, in terms of choice and quality, was the best we've had in a guest house, ever! Highly recommended.

What a fabulous, unique place! Even before checking in, we were invited to relax on a stylish sofa for tea and delicious scones (obviously with cream) then off to our beautiful bulldog-friendly room opening directly to the walled garden. Thursday night pop up Italian feast was stupendous with a great atmosphere, and breakfast both mornings was the best we've ever had - a help-yourself buffet including home made granola and pastries, and a proper fruit salad followed by a range of dishes you never normally see - Salcombe crab and avocado on toast anyone - as well as high quality full English. We were so relaxed that we lazed around the sheltered garden for most of one day with the sound of water enhancing the joy of being somewhere special. Scott and Alistair are terrific hosts and the glamorous white fluff balls, Poppy and Lola, are too cute for words. Highly recommended for a stay which is anything but ordinary!

A beautiful little hotel. Loved the decor and comfortable, well equipped rooms. The hospitality was outstanding! A welcome drink and scones, incredible breakfasts and helpful tips to make our stay more enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Scott and Alistair.

Amazing place - a destination in it’s own right and ideally located between Salcombe and Hope Cove. Room had absolutely everything you could want. Décor throughout is original with great detail - a feast for the senses. Breakfast (an extensive choice) was the best we’ve ever had. Alistair and Scott were very attentive and friendly, with great recommendations of what to do in the local area. Highly recommended and we plan to return!

If you are visiting Salcombe don't hesitate just book, we had the most wonderful stay , and Alisatir and Scott outstanding service and attention to care defiantly enhanced our visit . The breakfast was outstanding, the best we have ever had, all homemade with fresh produce . The bed was super comfy and the decor was just so tasteful and gorgeous . We will defiantly be telling all our friends about this find. Thank you for helping making our trip so perfect . What a beautiful part of the world you live in

In one word…amazing! This has to be one of the best B&B’s we have ever had the pleasure of staying at. We stayed two nights and it really was not long enough. Alistair & Scott are incredible hosts they have thought of everything to ensure their guests have a truly memorable stay. The house is decorated so beautifully with such interesting and quirky memorabilia of Brighton. Our room was so cozy, the bed was very comfortable. It was spotlessly clean. The refreshments in the room were fab and again there was everything you could need for your stay. The toiletries are of high end quality. The breakfast has to be one of the best breakfasts we have had. Fresh quality produce cooked by Scott to perfection. The garden was gorgeous and very peaceful. We loved our time and hope to visit again. We would definitely recommend you booking this fantastic B&B. Thank you both for making Steve, Barney & myself feel so very welcome x
