The hotel is beautiful. Nice big modern rooms. We had a room overlooking the lake. Breakfast was good but nothing cooked to order however they did have hot food and we enjoyed breakfast. Pool area is beautiful with plenty of seating and nice bar service. It is a twenty minute walk to the town of Malcesine but we didn’t mind the walk as we walked along the lake. Plenty of restaurants in Malcesine . Ferries were easy to catch. The town of Limone is worth visiting. The 1 negative was dinner. My wife and I both agreed that dinner was sub par at best so we decided to eat in town the rest of our stay. Staff were very nice and helpful. I would stay at Bellevue hotel again if ever in the area .

You can not fault the staff and service you get at this hotel. We stayed half board and the breakfast had a good selection of fresh fruit, meats, cheeses, breads and pastries. The evening meals were excellent with a different 4 course meal every night with wonderful friendly service. Views are breathtaking from all areas of the hotel. Our room was not the best in the hotel. We had a small balcony which was above the restaurant area. It would have been lovely to have been able to sit out and enjoy the view on the balcony but we just did this from the bar area instead. We had a lovely time which was made better by the wonderful staff.

Di ritorno da un lungo tour in Austria in moto decidiamo di fare una giornata di relax sul lago di Garda. Grazie a TA troviamo posto in questo meraviglioso hotel. Camera grandissima come pure la doccia e il bagno. Colazione ricca e abbondante. Posizione vicina al centro e molto silenziosa. Ci torneremo.

We love this beautiful hotel and have stayed many times. This year we had to rearrange at the last minute due to my husband breaking his collar bone. As it was so late, under their T&Cs, they could have claimed all the cost but they didn’t. They even offered to refund the deposit. This is because this hotel treats you as honoured family guests/friends. Thank you Ruggero and Daniel. The staff are the gems in this hotel - all work as a team to ensure you have a wonderfully relaxing time. The cleanliness is exceptional, the gardens are beautifully maintained, the food is excellent - well worth having half board for the variety and quality of the food. The Head Waiter leads from the front and runs a friendly, professional team who take pride in their work. The pool area has beautiful views with many seating options and Antonio at the pool bar ensures you are looked after all day. Reasonably priced snack lunches are available including a salad option. There is also a spa with steam rooms and lounging area although we didn’t use this facility this time. It is worth paying for a larger room as the value for money is still excellent. Views are outstanding for lake facing views. We chose a side facing view looking towards Malcesine and some of the lake as it is cooker in the late afternoon to enjoy a drink on the balcony (we take a travel kettle) / there is a fridge as well to store your locally bought drinks if you like. We drive from England and there is free parking with a fair number of spaces in a nice, cool garage. Bikes are available to borrow. This feeling of welcome comes from the owner and all the staff have ‘bought into’ his ethos.

For a variety of reasons, I strongly suggest you do not stay here if you are looking for a 4 star hotel. This is not the place. Unless of course you love being constantly bathed in cigarette smoke. As others have said, this hotel feels like a 3-star experience at best. Think budget chain motel. We stayed at multiple 4-5 star hotels in Cortina, Ortisei and Alpes di Suisi and this hotel felt like the Holiday Inn. This is chain motel vibes. To note: This hotel is not in Malscesine village. It is south of the village by over a mile. It is also not on the lake but o a hill above the lake. To actually get to the lake, you need either drive to a parking lot and pay to park or walk along a very busy, winding road with no sidewalk for 15 minutes and then go downhill to reach the lake. The town is a 35 minute walk and there are no good restaurants in less than 30 minute walk that are good.

Meaning, it is pretty isolated from town and the lake. We are super fit and active 40 year olds and this was fine for us but many guests told us they could not be bothered to make the trek to the actual lake.
The average age of the guest is about 65. There is a lot of smoking all over. You cannot really escape the smell of smoke. Many guests do not seem to leave the hotel grounds at all. The sit around the pool drinking and smoking all day long.
The staff is rude. Others already wrote this and it is totally true. There really is no concept of customer service. A few staff also told us that the boss and his son are awful to the staff. Other reviews mentioned this too. The WIF primarily does not work. The carpets are stained in the rooms. The walls are dirty. The rooms are dated. Despite what the picture look like. Having been 3 weeks in Cortina and Ortisei - at 4-5 star hotels, this one was like a 3-star at best. The restaurant is mediocre and that is a compliment. The food is 2 stars at best. The breakfast is awful. An array of not fresh foods.

Again, if you are used to eating quality foods, you will not be happy. The reason it gets good reviews is that the pool is great. The views are great and the grounds are pretty. And that this attracts guests that are all happy to lay around all day drinking and smoking and the place is perfect for that.
The grounds really are pretty. Many areas to sit and relax. They make up for the rude staff, the dated rooms, the stained carpets, the lack of room amenities. The isolated location.

This hotel is ideal for anyone 50+, not active, not planning on moving, wants to sit around and drink and smoke all day in a beautiful pool and does not care to be near a town, the lake, amenities or restaurants. If you are coming to enjoy the lake, be in the village this is not the hotel. There are so many better places in the lake for a perfect holiday closer to the lake and with better amenities. Also, if you are used to 4 star hotels and the service you get - this is not the hotel. If you love chain motels - you wi

This is a really wonderful hotel with exceptional staff, great facilities and amazing food. Interesting art work adds to the ambiance of the hotel, as do the beautifully maintained gardens.Rooms are kept spotlessly clean and are very comfortable with quiet and efficient air conditioning - and we were staying in standard accommodation. We hope to return.

We really liked the property for its fantastic staff and rustic charm. The hotel is a 20 minute walk into the town but with a few hills. Sadly the hotel is located in the hills above a restaurant/bar that played music very loudly until 12 midnight. Currently you cannot have the AC in Italy lower than 25C or 77F by law and so the room was very warm. We slept the first night with the doors open but couldn’t do this on the second night due to the noise. The Wi-Fi is absolutely the worst I have ever experienced. I cannot understand why it is so bad. The decoration and appearance of the hotel is lovely however they have some random sculpture pieces that really do not fit with the character. The pool is incredible but is not heated whatsoever. Overall we would stay here again but there are a few things people should be aware of.

Excellent hotel in a beautiful location, with magnificent views of the lake from everywhere. Lovely 20 minute walk into the centre of Malsecine. We found B&B to be the better option.
