We stayed here for the second time before catching our flight home after a dive trip. It is fine for one night, the room was clean and the air con worked great. This island is man made, so space is at a premium. We booked a twin in the hope that we might have a bit more bed space, but the floor space was not really big enough to have both our dive bags open at the same time. However the staff were absolutely delightful. The rooftop restaurant was really nice and the food and service was great. We had to leave at 5.15 and there was a lovely breakfast spread out with yogurt and juices and fruit beautifully presented. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

After a bad experience this holiday booking somewhere on the other island opposite Male for our forward journey, I was getting my hopes up! But upon arriving at Somerset we were greeted with smiles, a drink and cold towels. Not to mention the lovely driver who gave us some information on the city during the drive from the airport. The hotel, by any standard, ticks all the boxes! The restaurant has the best food and after walking around the street we decided we wouldn’t eat anywhere else. The staff go above and beyond and were friendlier than the island resort we’d spent 5 days at. This was the first time we actually wanted to ‘tip’ the staff. The room has everything you need. Yes the air conditioner in the main room smells a bit but it’s the same in Bali. It can’t be helped with the humidity! And the other comment about the call to prayer noise, you’re coming to a country that has their own traditions and I can’t see why you wouldn’t be respectful of that. Thanks for a fantastic stay and I will definitely be recommending to other friends.

We stayed here for one night before flying out. It was a very good stay. No frills, just what was needed for a transit stay. The room was clean, amenities were good, the included breakfast was great and the fact that they included one-way airport transport was a bonus. They were also flexible with check-in (possibly a factor being we travelled during non peak months). The one downside, if it matters, is that the property is not beach-facing. Though it's a 2 minute walk away. The locality itself is fabulous. The beach is great, a public park (with skate ramp!) is nearby, and there are several options for restaurants. It's a good budget pick for a hotel for a one-night (or more) stay. I'd certainly stay in Hulhumale again rather than the more crowded Male!

I had an amazing time with my boyfriend in SAii Lagoon, everyone there was so kind and lovely! They treated us like family and we felt so welcomed. During check-in I met “Jack”, he is so friendly, professional and extremely helpful! Also he speaks fluent mandarin and English which is a plus for Chinese tourists who struggles with English. At the restaurant/pool bar “Mr. Tom Yam” we’ve met some amazing staffs there, always happy to see us and they served us with the most delicious cocktails and food! We were always so happy to see “Eli & Sam”, they gave us the best suggestions when we couldn’t decide on what to get, you won’t be disappointed for sure whether is food or drinks! They knew what we wanted before even telling them which was a plus! And behind the bar you have the best mixologist called “Joseph” he made us AMAZING cocktails I swear is one of the BEST ones I’ve ever tasted so far! They would always greet and smile. The room was very spacious and well equipped with all essentials and fantastic view. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to the tourists who wants to go there. Before leaving I met “Tharaka” she was so lovely, kind and helpful! Everyone was so lovely, friendly and professional! Will be back to this place soon! This was a surprise trip for my husband's 50th birthday and we were travelling with my Son Esa aged 8. Once we got to our resort we were greeted and welcomed by Amine and the team. Amine was very welcoming and took us on a buggy around the resort to show us around and escort us to our room. Amine went out his way daily to stay in touch via WhatsApp and kept us updated about all the activities taking place daily. Our room was amazing and we had been upgraded to a beach pool villa:-). The bed was decorated and a welcome card/fruits were placed in our room. The boy's were so excited regarding the private pool. Our resort was amazing and had alot to offer. This resort in particular had a kids club hence why I chose this resort. Guest Relations were amazing and accommodating . Grace also from Guest Relations was very welcoming and came to see us. The restaurant /food was pretty good and had lots of choice. Esa being a child wanted his normal chips/burger or nuggets and was offered this separately which was great. All the restaurant staff was amazing especially Shafiq, Shauka and the team. They all went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and happy. Shafiq had his way of taking care of families and even bringing the yummy special desserts to our table. He would always accommodate us to the best table/view too. Shauka was the head operations manager for all the restaurants and I promise you he was always hands on and ready to serve you in whatever you wanted to eat. He would always go out his way for us especially for my son Esa. Even on the last morning we was leaving he made Esa his favourite waffles :-). Our last dinner was arranged privately by Mr Ejaz (Hotel manager) and Shauka so we can celebrate my husband's 50th. A beautiful table was set on the stilts restaurant with a cake and Shauka personally came to serve us with all the different foods we wanted to eat:-). Absolutely amazing he was. Esa really misses everyone especially Shauka. We had an amazing stay and experience at Villa Nautica. We have already said that we will surely be coming back again and recommending to our family/friends. Small comment regarding the ice cream served at meal times in the restaurant- it was not nice/very poor quality. It was like some powdered ice cream mixed.

...to enjoy your vacation. We have spent 10 days at the Bandos resort in September, and the place and staff are absolutely amazing (more about the people at the end). Unfortunately, there is currently construction work going on and we were only informed about this by our travel agent after the booking. Our beach villa did not really have a beach (yet) as this was still being prepared. The shovel excavator started doing its work at 7am in the morning and sometimes only stopped at 10:30pm. This was the unfortunate part. We do not necessarily blame the hotel for this as the renewal has to be done at some stage. The Bandos resort is soon getting 50 years old and it is good that it is being kept up to date. The new villas at the front left side are really nice. We would just have hoped that the current circumstances would have been better described on the web site and that the prices would have been adjusted accordingly. We had the all-inclusive package which is kind of a must, otherwise the vacation will be very expensive. With AI, you will have a wide choice of drinks and really good food for breakfast, at lunch and dinner. You definitely have to try the different curry's, they are excellent in taste. The best thing about the resort is its team. Everybody is fluent in English, very kind to you and can somehow read your mind and wishes that you have. The management must give their employees a really good training upfront. At dinner, Tanuj, xx, xx and xx gave us a perfect treatment. After a few days they recognized us, despite having to take care of so many visitors. Special requests, such as different beverages or food, were being taken care of right away. At the last day of our stay we had a table that was already prepared for us, The decoration looked wonderful and it almost felt like a honeymoon. The location gets 5 stars. The current construction works (and the way they are handled) reduces it down to 3-4 stars. However, the kindness of the team brings the overall impression back to 5 stars. What an incredible experience! From the moment we arrived at the airport we were so welcome by so the staff. The resort itself is beautiful and kept really well. This is high quality resort with a very personalised touch. Shohel, our house keeper, made such a difference and was very courteous and thoughtful. We stayed for our anniversary and was met with such a beautiful display. The room was quite spacious as we stayed in an overwater villa and was quite private. The beautiful reefs are worth exploring. All the activities in the resort are so much fun and the staff make it much more enjoyable filling in any knowledge gaps and answering any questions we had. Would definitely recommend staying as we’ve decided we’d love to come back in the future.

It’s my first time visiting Maldives. Every thing is good. The room is very spacious and the view is great. The staff were also nice and friendly. We can check in early at about 11am. The breakfast and dinner in the Edge is tasty. The dinner in The breeze is also delicious and I like The Breeze since it is very chill to dine-in there. They have a bluetooth speaker in the room! The room cleaner also always cleaned our room tidily. If there is a washing machine in the room it would be better. Since the laundry service is a little bit expensive for us. But it is a great place to have a holiday!
