Apartamentos Playa Moreia

The rooms are dated, however very clean. We were room only, the room had very basic kitchen: 2 ring hob (no oven) and toaster. A single pan and sauce pan. One sharp knife, spatula, holey spoon. Plates, bowls and cutlery. A fridge with the little top freezer. So, enough to happily cook or prepare basic meals. (We only had snacks and ate out) The safe is not included, its €2.50 a day. Beach towels are not included, €20 deposit plus €7.50 non-refundable charge for a week. The TV has news channels, ITV3 and Film 4. The pool is a little pool ideal for cooling off in, not a swimming lengths type of pool. There is a small childs pool as well. The beds around the pool are great and the sun is on the pool side all day. The front of the hotel has a big patio and seating and tables, we noticed this was a popular place for evening entertainment with the stage outside and different singers each night. A small kids area is there with electric bikes. Late check out is a chance thing, if there is no booking for the room its €40 up till 20:00. Sadly, the only negative thing i can say is there are no decent facilities for late leavers. The shower in the pool area is not at all suited for a spruce up and the pool side loo probably isnt the best for changing in. The staff were so lovely and friendly and couldn't do enough. The beach is 20 seconds from the hotel entrance, and the better beach than the neighbouring Sa Coma which was mobbed! The beach beds are pretty pricey if using everyday, a single bed is €10 or you can get 2 beds for €15. We ended up using beach towles on the sand. S'Illot & Playa Moria is the quieter end and has more of a chilled rustic feel. Eating out is pretty much similar to UK. We did check out as many places as possible, as a guide a 12” pizza is around €12, a paella is €19, a lasagna €15. A large coke is €3.90, a cocktail €8.50. Bread, milk, butter, 2x large bags of crisps and a pack of biscuits is €22. There is a grocery shop on the main road heading away from the hotel at the cross road. This had fresh fruit, veg, bread and was a fair bit cheaper for the 5 min walk I'd suggest going there as its a little cheaper. The Beach Bar is defo the best place we ate and pretty reasonable for price and lovely service. The P.Moria has mobility scooter hire, I didn't need it! If you enjoy walking, there is a national park to the left, about a 5 mile hike and has a couple of old forts. To the right is a sea trail with a couple of really lovely coves and a sea cave you can pop into. This walk goes to the next resort, just follow the path! We booked with On the Beach, flew with Ryanair and booked parking with Ryanair. Now we know the cost savings to be had I.e. taking our own towels, take a travel safe, and shop a bit further out we are set to go back in March! Hotel room was rustic but we were rarely in it and it does what other says on the tin. Hope this is helpful and you enjoy yourselves as much as we did

Location bien équipée et bien placée. Le jacuzzi sur la terrasse du haut était super.
Apartamentos Arcos Playa

We booked knowing not to expect luxury for the price we paid but aside from that after reading previous reviews it was a place that we hoped would suit us, we like smaller family run places as you feel valued more and Arcos didn’t disappoint. We came as a family of 8 with two 80 year olds in the party. Toni remembered quite quickly her preferred breakfast and we didn’t need to ask for it. he also let us celebrate her birthday in the bar with a cake bought from outside the hotel, nothing was too much trouble. We quickly made friends with other holiday makers who had been visiting the place for some time and I could understand why! If you are wanting a fabulous location, 2 mins from the beach, supermarket opposite, bus stop 1 min away then this is the place for you. Beach is gorgeous with ten or so restaurants around there, if you fancy a stroll Sa Coma is 2 mins over the bridge where you will find countless restaurants with shops in between. If you can look beyond the few imperfections you will have a super time. We stayed in room 107 which was a 2 bed apartment so it was huge, view not the best though, but hey you can’t win them all, bathroom recently modernised, lots of hot water, always. Toni and Martin work tirelessly from morning til night and Toni’s bingo was something I’ve never experienced before, different, but funny. We also ate in a few times and food was good. We have just booked for next June.

First of all, I have to get rid of the fact that you are not being cheated of the deposit as everyone writes. Only the visitor's tax is taken into account, which is absolutely correct. So everything is fine. The finca was very clean and well maintained ou

We are absolutely delighted with the apartment. The bright and modern apartment has nothing missing when it comes to equipment: WLAN, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, internet-enabled TV.
