Brittany Motel

Lovely vintage motel with clean rooms and nice views of the mountains. Nice continental breakfast. Great communication w/ hosts. Will stay again despite the view of a Vermont outhouse from back window. Gall is such a great time of year in Manchrster.

We went there for a wedding and we choose the place because very near the place of the event. Our room was very cleaned, hospitable and quiet. 5 minutes from town were there are a lot of nice restaurants and pubs. We really enjoyed our week end there.

This is your VERY basic low budget roadside motel. The room was clean, but the bathroom tub had quite a bit of mold on the tiles. The big issue was that there was no hot water. I reported it to the office and was told I'm the second person to report this. No apology, just a "thanks for letting us know. There's basically no service to speak of. I went to the office for the "breakfast" but it was closed. I'm very suspicious of all the 5 star reviews. There are loads of places nearby. If you're looking for the cheapest room, this is a good bet.

The cleanest motel I have ever stayed in., Even thou near the highway was quiet, beds are comfortably, Snacks and breakfast provided.. Very nicely landscaped. Outside chairs around to enjoy the fresh mountain air. Would recommend to others.

"Great little motel in the middle of nowhere" is how I described it to people. I typically stay at places like the Marriott or Hampton Inn but decided (on a whim) to stay here while I explored the area for a few days. Self check in was easy and my room (#9) was very nice! TV and Wifi worked great. Water pressure and temperature was great — bed was comfortable, etc. There are some Adirondack chairs right outside to relax in. There is also a little lounge that had snacks and DVDs. For breakfast there was coffee and cereal and a few other things — more than I was really expecting, to be honest! My communication with the owners was all done by text but that was fine with me since I only stayed over one night and then left in the morning. I guess you could say it's a little spooky at night cause you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, but it was fine and very peaceful. When I checked in I seemed to be the only guest but when I came back to the motel later, there were several cars. I would definitely recommend it!

The motel needs a lot of updating at least as far as our room goes. It was a good price compared to other lodgings closer to Manchester center. The bathroom tile had black mold around tub, the plastic part of shower curtain had a purplish hue on bottom of it and sink was small. The toilet had stains in bowl. The room smelled a bit funky, ac unit was very loud. The king bed was not supportive on one side. I guess it depends on one’s expectations.

It was a very pleasant stay at the Brittany. Wonderful clean and simple room. Very nice and quiet. Very friendly staff and lots of good snacks and coffee. A perfect place for a getaway in Manchester right near the Mount Equinox sky drive. Just a few miles from town. Very easy to get in and out.

Stayed here for a week during the Battenkill Fly Fishing Festival. Perfect distance between festival and Orvis Headquarters. Quite, Clean, Amazing view of the mountains. Ashley was great and very helpful. 2nd time staying there in 2 years and will stay agian if the opportunity arises.

I picked this place while skiing at Stratton because hotels like the Hampton Inns and the Equinox were overly expensive. The owner, Tabatha was extremely accommodating and she went out of her way to make me a nice breakfast. The muffins were tasty and the coffee was nice and strong. While this is a small, no-frills motel, the room was clean, and Tabatha was warm and hospitable.
