The room was clean but the only complaint was the window was locked and we couldn’t open it ourselves when we wanted you had to go down to reception and get them to come and open it with their key for the window

Good location, clean room, good customer service would stay again

Our stay has been pleasant, the room is very spacious and cozy. However, we stayed 2 nights and the cleaning service did not come at any time, despite putting the "you can enter" sign on the door handle. In addition, in the toilet there was a dirty towel (with a lot of makeup) from a previous tenant. Besides, after checking out we left our bags in the luggage room and when we went back for them they did not look at the numbering of the tickets, but rather they made us enter the room to "take your bags" without checking if we really had ours. .. obviously yes, but this does not give any security, because anyone can steal them. Otherwise everything quite good.

Large Comfortable room with a big comfy room, bath and shower facilities. Staff all very helpful and friendly. Great breakfast service and good location in centre of Manchester. Right next to a LARGE well lit secure car park which was handy when arriving late at night.

This is a good value Hotel. Typical Premier Inn always the same and everything you want in a basic form. Only annoying thing is slow WiFi, really inexcusable these days and just a marketing ploy to encourage to buy faster Wi-Fi. The restaurant goo meal deal was very good although they had run out of mustard. Served by Olivia an excellent staff member, pleasant and hyper efficient. Compensated by a complimentary peppercorn sauce made us a bit happier. All in all we would definitely recommend Many thanks Premier

I had a lovely experience at this premier inn this past Monday, it can be a bit nerve wracking travelling on your own but liv and AJ were so helpful and lovely, they really provided excellent customer service and it made my stay so much more enjoyable. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was fab! Would absolutely recommend!

Had an amazing stay at the hotel on Monday night. Room was in immaculate condition. And I want to give a mention to Olivia and AJ for their great service, both made me feel welcomed and both were there if I needed anything. Thank you and I will be back!

I had a great stay at the Premier Inn on Portland Street. In particular I want to say a special thank you to Paulo, one of the staff members working in the Premier Inn restaurant during breakfast. Paulo was incredibly accommodating with my food allergies. Paulo ensured that I had access to all the information I needed about allergens in the food and went the extra mile making sure my table was free from allergens. Paulo's attention to detail and consideration meant that I felt taken care of, confident in the food and was able to have a relaxed breakfast experience. Thank you!

Portland st is ideally located, 5 minutes from Oxford road train station, so great for gig goers at the O2 ritz. Close to the trams and buses and easy walking distance to Piccadilly & the Arndale. Lots of pubs & Restaurants near also, The hotel is clean maybe a bit dated but ideal for short stays, as with all premier inns the beds are amazing, we also enjoyed a fabulous breakfast. Best thing about the hotel is the staff were all great, attentive and helpful . Paulo in particular made us welcome.

Paulo,the main host was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I was travelling alone for business but I was made to feel very safe. The facilities were very good quality,as was the breakfast. The only minor negative point is that the room was very stuffy at night and the fan didn't quite cut it! It'd certainly be a place I would return to.

The room was clean, orderly, no issues at all with the bathroom, bed clean, comfortable. In general the room and hotel were well presented, basic but offer very good value for money!

Staying in this hotel over night was a wonderful experience, from the size of the rooms and comfort levels, to the helpful and supportive staff - they really made this an amazing time for us. This met every one of my expectations and was awesome. Big thank you to Paulo and Gina for their welcoming presence and help at breakfast, a perfect way to start to day!
