Location and value for money are the reason we booked, plus that fact we spent most of the time out of the room. shower room is a good size, though the heat of the water does not need to exceed 40, for the sake of the environment. We had a basement room, bigger that other rooms apparently. yet gap between the end of the bed and the wall is tiny need to walk sideways to spend a penny at night. staff at reception knowledgeable of the surroundings.

First impression on walking in very nice relaxed atmosphere , there were a few teething problems on checking in there was a new receptionist but a senior member observed and help solve and I was given a complimentary drink token in the way af apology which was a nice touch . The hotel is situated 10 mins walk from Piccadilly train station and vey central. The room was very clean and spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful and there was enough around . We got back late and found the bar area pretty full . The drink was expensive but with the amount of staff around and the service this was expected . The overnight sleep was trouble free no noise bed comfortable and linen very clean . I have been travailing to Manchester for 30 years and have stayed in many hotels I have to say that for the price is by far the best I’ve stayed in Thank you for making me feel so well-come I will be defiantly be staying there again .

For the most part, the hotel was clean. The staff were very helpful as my keycards stopped working twice but it was resolved pretty quick. The lifts worked fine and were decently fast, especially since I was on the sixth floor. The security guard was lovely too. Onto the room, the main bathroom light took about 30 seconds to a minute to turn on. That isn't too bad, but it was just kind of irritating at times. As well as that, the shower was dripping during the entire stay no matter what we did. The sixth floor is supposed to be a quiet floor, but there was a lot of noise coming from both inside and outside the hotel which was sometimes disruptive. There were workers around too, which wasn't too bad, but they started working early and you could definitely hear them. As well as this, there was a fire alarm test with no prior notice. The wifi was pretty hard to use on my phone - I had to manually type in the connection site each time. It was the same on my laptop, but I had to go into the settings and get the site each time to connect. In general the stay wasn't so bad and the location was decent, the main issues were the noises and shower, but everything else was good. I would recommend for a budget hotel. The bed was comfortable and everything worked fine for the most part, but just be wary of the surroundings.

Rooms are clean and tidy. Lovely comfy bed but pillows need replacing as falling apart There was no hairdryer in our room but this was quickly rectified once we asked for one, We had a lovely chilled stay in our room but would not recommend the in house restaurant. I have left a separate review of that..👎 Reception and cleaning staff who we met around the hotel were super friendly. We were on floor 5 and it was so peaceful. If I hadn’t heard a shower (very quiet) next door I would have thought we were the only ones on that floor. Hotel is just a short walk from everywhere so in a good position… Only criticism is the hotel is so hot and I mean hot. You melt at reception when you check in. Also we couldn’t get the air con to work in our room so it was. Constantly 19 degrees

Would definitely recommend this hotel for short stays in Manchester. The central location makes it ideal for exploring, shopping and evenings out. The rooms are basic but have everything you need. Everywhere was absolutely spotless, the staff were all lovely and the bar/restaurant downstairs is a great place to start your night.

I stayed for 2 nights on business. Have stayed previously. The hotel staff are always friendly and helpful the hotel is a great base, clean and comfortable beds. I would recommend the breakfast too. The young man on reception is so helpful and even remembers faces of those who have previously stayed. He is a credit to your hotel, his customer services skills are excellent. Thanks also to all the staff who work in various sectors of the hotel.

Stayed here a while back whilst on a business trip. The room was huge and I was so impressed with the bed and linen I emailed them when I got home to find out the make. Great bathroom and the little touches like the sweets in the fridge were fab. Ate in the restaurant and quality and portions were great. Staff throughout the hotel were a credit. Will look forward to another stay

Kind staff, great entertainment in the bar with a lovely beer garden.

Located 2 minutes walk from the Tram stop, you can get directly into the centre of Manchester in 45 minutes so perfect quiet place if you are going to an event like I was. The hotel is brand new and located opposite a leisure park of shops, restaurants and a cinema. The hotel was actually spectacular for a town centre hotel, modern and bright. The rooms were very nice well kitted out with mod cons. As a hilton Honors diamond member I was not offered a free upgrade, nor a late check out after 2pm as they said the house keeping leave at 3pm. Overall it’s a nice hotel, but I would not recommend it for hilton Honors members as the benefits are very limited.
