Based on the internet search it came across as most popular hotel for midway overnight halt from chandigarh to manali. Stayed in feburary first week. It's 5/10 mins drive before mandi town. Location : so so. It's road side and if doors are open a constant traffic noise is present. Valley views ! None one can only see a underconstruction road and few houses. No valley. Cost: overpriced for the facilities and the location. Food: I was told the restaurant was very popular and one needs to book a table to dine in restaurant. So we dined in the room. A few starters were average. Main course was completely below average. Rooms: old decor, clean. But not well maintained otherwise. Staff: the receptionist and all staff were very helpful. But that seems to be the only good part of this hotel. They have a parking for few vehicles. This is a high light in himachal. Verdict. Good location for overnight halt. But that's it . Don't except any thing more than average. Also not value for money .

This was perhaps a wonderful property when it was built many years ago. But due to poor maintenance and failure to upgrade the facilities according to changing needs of the time, it has become an obsolete property. The food is average, and the property is not friendly to people with locomotor disadvantages. The ac rooms are actually old non ac rooms in which an ac has been fitted like an afterthought. The price is expensive for such an average service. Stay here if and only if you have no other option at all.

Путешествуя по Индии, на одну ночь останавливались в Valley View. Заселение быстрое, не смотря на то, что наша группа была немаленькая - 14 человек. Лифта нет, с багажом оперативно как поднять, так и спустить помогли работники отеля. Небольшой ресепшн очень симпатично оформлен. Номера просторные, мебель практически отсутствует, единственный шкаф не смогли открыть, но так как мы были на одну ночь, он и не потребовался, чемоданы не стали разбирать. Единственное, что не понравилось и создало неудобство, это отсутствие дополнительного полотенца для ног в ванной комнате. Душевая никак не огорожена, в результате весь пол становится сырым и скользким. Завтрак и ужин были включены у нас в стоимость проживания. Обслуживание в ресторане небыстрое, но зато всё приготовленное было свежее и вкусное. Услугами ресторана могут воспользоваться не только гости отеля, но и все желающие, кто проезжает мимо. Отель-ресторан расположен у дороги. Несколько дней ранее мы заезжали сюда на обед.

We halt for a night while moving towards manali. Rooms were not as expexted. Average food quality. Worst view from room. Stay if you have no other choice.

Stay was nice, good location. I have stayed here earlier as well. But this time the service was quiet slow. As season is going on, hotel is having several customers but not equipped with staff to handle all those.
