The service at reception during checkout left a lot to be desired. Otherwise OK. The location was great. The furnishings in the comfort room are outdated (for example, there was a very small and old TV). The bathroom and the bed were excellent.

Well-maintained hotel in the center of Mannheim, right next to the water tower. Rooms are a good size.

The location is convenient, about a 15-minute walk from the mannheim railway station. If you have less luggage, you can walk directly there. If you have more luggage, it is recommended to take a taxi, because you have to cross a lot of roads.

I am not sure why the average rating is 4 stars out of 5. I thought the hotel was amazing. Clean and comfortable rooms, conveniently located near restaurants and a short walk to the city center. The car garage is reasonably priced. I purchased the rate that included breakfast and it was tremendous. I don't think you can get this type of breakfast in any hotel in the US, even Ritz or Four Seasons. They had it all - from 5-6 types of fresh bread to many varieties of meat, cheeses, fresh fruit, egg dishes, many varieties of yogurt and granola, all kids of vegetables, amazing coffee machines that make coffee from the freshly ground beans in front of you, etc. I hope to stay here again in the future.
