Great location, good price, lovely staff. Would stay again

Hotel very well located near the Joy lighthouse Well equipped studio

The location is very good, a few steps to the beach and various restaurants, the underground parking garage is too small, although it is not expensive, but the entry and exit is too narrow and novices recommend that you stop by the road at night, generally between 8 and 9 o'clock to 8 o'clock the next day is free.

A central hotel with a lot of quality

Hotel is run down. Rust and mould in the bathroom. Beds are cheap and ancient with blankets rather than duvets. Rooms are very basic. The area is pretty noisy and dirty looking.

+ Easy check in. Big Comfortable bed. Good fridge. Maids in daily. Central. - Very noisy. Builders doing work which we werent told about when booked or on check in. Complained & nothing done about it. Power cuts. Bar hardly open & we were there for a week.

4 minute walk to the beach! Safe neighborhood, lots of dining options and shopping. Nonsmoking room smelt a little like cigarettes but wasn’t a deal breaker.

El Faro is good value in an excellent location close to the beachfront and main tourist areas including restaurants and other popular areas such as the Old Town. It is just a shame that the management of the hotel don’t see that a few small changes to the way they do things would make this hotel amazing, such as; ensure the lights in the hall ways remain on; supply washing up liquid and washing up cloth in the rooms with kitchenettes; play better music in the lobby and play it all the time; improve breakfast - set the tables; offer better array of food and don’t leave food sitting there for so long; get the marks off the walls; play great music at night when you want people to enjoy the bar… I think El Faro could be a super hotel if only the owner’s tried a little harder to make guests feel valued and changed a few things that say “we care”…

No isolation in the rooms at all. You would hear everything next to you and on the street. The cleaner forgot stuff in my room. The oversheet had mold on it. The breakfast was bad

Great location 2 minute walk to the promenade 5 mins to the marina Stayed bed breakfast in a superior room … a little cramped with 3 of us but plenty of room for 2 people the extra bed is a put up bed not the best Breakfast is very basic and of not great quality had to keep asking for fresh items fried eggs etc

Stay was ok. Clean Pool was very disappointing very little sun around pool and is gone by 4.30 each day Wud have liked a better array of food Otherwise good location

Kitchenette in room. Very nice breakfast.

Very kind and helpful staff. I will stay there again on my next visit. Excellent location.
