Surf Club Of Marco

Excellent location, accommodating and unit included everything we needed for our family of five adults.

The Surf Club of Marco Island is a nice resort that is located within walking distance to shops and restaurants and the beach! Our unit was clean and fully furnished. There is a pool and hot tub and workout room. The staff is friendly and always helpful.

This is one of the best places I have ever stayed. I spent a fabulous vacation week at The Surf Club of Marco and cannot wait to return. For me, it was a timeshare exchange. The staff is extremely helpful, friendly, and efficient. The accommodations are ideal, with a perfectly-equipped kitchen, beautiful living and sleeping areas, beautiful Gulf views, and my favorite - the balcony! What an amazing location for watching the spectacular Gulf coasts sunsets! I could not have been more pleased with The Surf Club of Marco. I give it my highest recommendation.

Game room with ping pong table, board games, and puzzles great for rainy days. Lunch given one day was a nice gesture. Glad they took down who did rsvp. Keeps cost down and then no waste of food. Being able to exchange beach towels everyday was great. Staff was helpful. Good view from our room and a nice size. Found lots of shells on the beach. We had a wonderful time.

I am writing this because the other reviews I feel are misleading. This hotel is not a 4 star, it is not a 4.7/5. In our room, we had a bathroom door that barely functioned, another bathroom that would pool water due to them not providing a plastic liner, a shower faucet that leaked half of it's water through the spout instead of the showerhead, a cracked door frame where clearly someone tried to bust into the room previously and wasn't fixed, absolutely horrible pillows, and just in general need of tlc and updates. (Please get better beds. I'm under 30 and had back aches every day due to these cheap mattresses.) The wifi and satellite connections were also a joke and went in and out constantly. So if you want to watch tv, good luck. We used our Hilton points here and, after coming from an Orlando, saw the difference between the two hotels. Granted, these issues might be due to the owners.. I am still not very clear on if we just stayed in someone's owned condo or if this is actually a hotel situation. I feel like if they were condos then trash would have to be included but I don't know. It's great that this place is on the beach and the rooms are spacious but it doesn't have a bar, restaurant, breakfast, beach chairs, well sized toiletries, etc. and is just not well kept. If I was to do this again, I would make sure to go to another hotel in the area that offered more. Is it fine for a stay? Yes. Especially if you have a large group and need space...But it's not a luxurious hotel like people are making it out to be and I feel money could be better spent elsewhere.

The Surf Club is the perfect place to stay on Marco. Walk across the street to everything from movies to shops, great restaurants ETC. The folks that work at the club are pleasant, helpful and always there for any need you have. Of course the direct access to the white sand beach is a 10!!

Wow,We had not visited Marco Island in a few years. As part of the Hilton Grand Vacations we had a room on the eight floor with fantastic views. Our accomondations met all of our expectations, basic needs, pool towels, nice and clean.... Diane Wooten with the front desk team was most helpful and provided great advice on places to eat and things to do. The owners we met were nice. Pool and deck and straight to the beach. Walking distance (city block) by the beach or sidewalk to the Marriott. Restaurants, shopping, theaters accross the street. Go to Snook Inn to eat and consider the Sunshine Dinners cruise.
