The host is very helpful but don't book here! It's very bad. There are no convenience stores or restaurants nearby. The surrounding area is very shabby and dirty. Someone else could even open the key when I was washing up in the morning! There is no security at all. I couldn’t sleep all night worrying about my things being stolen. It is not convenient to take a taxi from the airport to the apartment. It is recommended to stay in a hotel close to the subway and can be reached by subway.

I made a reservation in mainland China for my daughter who is in Germany and going to Greece. It is a hotel apartment near Athens Airport, about 8 kilometers away. The room is large and clean. Because I had an early flight at 6 a.m. the next day and didn't want to go to the city of Athens, I booked it that night. The landlord is very nice and amiable. If you contact her 15 minutes before arriving at the store, you can check in at the apartment. When you are alone in a foreign country, when you are not familiar with the place, when you don’t understand the language well, or when the plane is delayed, you have to go. Living near Athens Airport really gives me a sense of security and landing.
