5 star this isn't.. probably 3.5 to 4...rooms very small..out dated..food is ok but Luke warm at most..pool side very busy...entertainment is bit of a joke realy..drinks so so..snack bar is adequate..we stayed here cause we got it cheap..700 each if that's cheap...in high season is around 1200 to 1400 each..don't pay it go somewhere else better in my opinion we won't return..but weather was great which was a plus

HAD MONEY STOLEN FROM ClEANERS AND BELONGINGS AVOID AVOID AVOID food discusting staff not friendly alcohol watered down cleaners help thremselfs to your belongings and steal your things . Carry your personal things with you they have done to a number of people when I was there

Lovely pool and amazing location. Food was ok. Housekeeping in general not good at all however front desk staff was amazing. But be very careful about guests profile. I was having a chat with front desk staff and left my cigarette and wallet on he front desk. One of the guest approached and put his hands on the wallet and tried to move it. Rather than that was a good family holiday.

Unfortunately there's not much good I can say about this hotel,we arrived on 6th September for a week as a family of 4 adults and 2 children ,on arrival at after 2am in the morning there wasnt as much as a cup of tea let alone something to eat and no kettle in the room which was very small and very noisy air conditioning but this helped to drown out the other guests in the rooms beside as the walls were paper thin,the room was not cleaned the whole week only clean towels left and sheets pulled up on the beds,the food was exactly the same for the whole week we had to eat out most of the time which is a disgrace for supposed to be 5 star,only 2 members of staff were friendly the rest just about managed to grunt 1 bar man actually shook the tip box at my partner needless to say he wasn't tipped,the drinks are really watered down and the cocktails are syrup and lemonade,even the pineapple juice was watered down,nightly entertainment was Ok, what you would expect ,Marmaris itself is beautiful and every restaurant and bar we visited was lovely with delicious food and friendly staff they certainly could have taught the staff at grand ideal premium!,iv been to a few different counties and I'm by no means fussy and iv never had to write a review like this before but so disappointed in this hotel!!,Grand ideal premium take heed of your customers reviews !!,Iwe certainly will not be returning

Absolutely awful hotel, my daughter got all her holiday money stolen (second day of her holiday) £1100 by the cleaners, we have spoke to numerous guests who have had the same problem with things going missing, a man today on the same floor had £509 stolen from the cleaners his daughters birthday money, the hotel don’t want to know they don’t care quite suorising as the woman from guest relations is from the uk I’m also on there grand ideal premium group and funny enough myself and my daughter have been removed from the site, if you don’t want to be robbed don’t stay here although the cleaners are living there best life,

This hotel is definitely not 5*. I've never been to a 5* hotel, which does not give rooms tea/coffee making facilities in the room. The room does not have an iron/ironing board. The food is average at best, and the alcoholic drinks are terrible. Some of the staff are friendly but others in the restaurant especially are not friendly. Warning to others planning on staying here. Please note that there are 2 tour operators who are not connected directly to the hotel, which will try to sell you excursions. One is named Marko and the other Kerem/Karim AKA Jack (changes his name frequently due to having a negative reputation online. He will use pressure tactics to get you to buy excursions from them. If you don't want to be ripped off, do NOT purchase anything from these con men. Simply go out of the hotel and into town and use one of the many tour operator booths which can be found adjacent to the beach and in the town centre. These 2 men pocket your hard earned money for themselves and will send you to the cheap excursions.

If you’re planning on staying in marmaris this hotel I’d avoid personally As a young couple we don’t like to complain but omg, was giving a disabled room with a balcony that had space for half a person and was 1 foot long. Most of the food is unlabelled and you eat based on looks (unless you have allergies) then you HAVE to find a member of staff speaking your language! Food selection is terrible same things over and over again and some new bits here and there but most unlabelled and no description of what you have, we also arrived at 9pm due to a delay and was given no food and told nothing was available apart from hotdog rolls with cheese and tomato in at 11pm. Drinks are okay, little cups which you have to refill every 2 minutes and watered down sprits. Entertainment is okay, nothing that lasts very long it’s very minimal, this was all round not great, marmaris lovely and weathers lovely but hotel is very very minimal and not good. Just to add; we did ask to move room and was told due to availability they couldn’t do it, hotel grounds and pool and stuff like that’s very good and nice spacious and clean.

So we stayed a week, room ok, food ok however some is served outside no signs but we got lucky 3 nights in. Staff and pool area very good, biggest concern is noise after 12 until around 2.30am with teenagers being a nuisance and even though cctv in operation nobody appeared or dealt with it . When you have a couple of other hotels a stones throw from this that are 5 star I do t see how this one can claim to be and my stance of 3 star will remain. Entertainment also not great.

Beautiful Hotel, Spotless clean, Staff very welcoming, Polite. Very well placed for everything.Food something for everyone, Local beer a bit of a let down, No problems getting sunbeds round the pool, Hotel rooms Very nice, plenty of room, Nice shower with hair dryer, Good wardrobe space. Weather was Beautiful, Had a Great time X
