The environment is acceptable and the owner is very enthusiastic, but the room is too cold. There is air conditioning but it is of little use.

We arrived in Marrakech just 3 days after the earthquake and we had decided that if it was too unsafe, we would immediately cancel our booking and continue our break by train to Rabat or Fez instead. We were made very welcome on arrival and we were reassured by the kindness, hospitality and openness of the staff, hotel Sherazade consists of two riads side by side. We were upgraded and placed in the 2nd riad, this building was very solid and in good structural condition so we felt very safe. Hotel Sherazade is indeed an oasis, the rooms are very comfortable and simply furnished, the showers are hot and powerful. The rooms are kept cool with effective air conditioning. The second riad also has the benefit of a small plunge pool on the ground floor. Cleaning is continuous and to a high standard throughout the day Breakfast is a simple but elegant affair on the rooftop terrace with fresh delicious breads, fruit, eggs, and cakes, there is also plenty of tea and coffee. We arrived with some concerns but at the end of 5 days we did not want to leave. In Marrakech, life is very quickly returning to normal, the news images on television exaggerate the degree of damage, it is reasonably easy to have a good vacation and stay safe by just using some judgment and common sense and avoiding any buildings that are obviously badly damaged. We look forward to returning next year.

We recently spent 4 nights at this absolutely gorgeous hotel/riad in the Medina of Marrakesh, and were stunned by its beauty, love for detail and the hospitality and friendliness of the staff. The location is absolutely central, situated in a quiet side street and easy to walk to tourist attractions. Your day starts with a yummy complementary breakfast and the hotel even has a small beautiful pool to dip into and a quiet rooftop terrace to relax on at night or during the day. The staff went beyond anything we expected and even put together a 3 night trip into the mountains and desert, had us stay in beautiful accommodations along the way and picked an exceptional driver to show us the beauty of Morocco from a local view. Hotel Sherazade is an absolut gem and we cannot wait to come back soon!

Estuvimos una noche, después de venir del desierto y la verdad que muy muy bien. El trato del personal muy muy correcto educados amables simpáticos. Nos ayudaron a solucionar algun papeleo y muy gustosamente. La cocina muy rica, la cena estaba riquísima y si te gusta el picantito mejor jeje... En el desayuno también de todo y todo rico. Y también nos dejaron estar por allí, ya que el check out es a las 11 y el avión era por la tarde, entonces nos dieron permiso para estar allí sin problema en la terraza y de más, y gustosamente nos guardaron las maletas también. Está en buen sitio, cerca de la plaza y del zoco, la casa o hotel es muy bonita también el interior la decoración y la habitación también muy bien. Para pasar más de una noche y estar agusto y cómodos.
