I stayed at Amour D'Auberge over the new year - I was looking for a hostel that was relatively quiet and laid back, in a good location. Hiba, Nadia, Faisal and Jamil run the hostel together and every interaction I had with each of them was very positive! They were super friendly and helpful. I shared an 8-bed female room and had no problems with it - the beds are comfortable and warm, and you get a key-locked cupboard to store your valuables. The hostel is in a fantastic central location, just five minutes walk to the big square! Even though the hostel itself was pretty quiet there is a jazz bar next door, which did mean that sometimes it was loud late at night - but I just used ear plugs and it didnt disturb me too much. Also, while I was staying they were having some building work done which was noisy during the day, however I was out and about most of the time so it didn't cause me any problems. Overall I would recommend Amour D'Auberge and would stay here again in future :-)

One of the best place to stay in medina. Nice and stylish, clean rooms, simple breakfast. Location also good enough, because its not that far to walk by medina from taxi (another riads can be so far and it's not comfortable to find it, especially when you have a lot of clothes). One more thing - they are really equipped with everything you need in rooms - fridge, smart-TV, hairdryer, even in single rooms. Not every riad can have it, especially with this price. Friendly and very helpful staff. Especially grateful to Hassan, he helped me with my one thousand questions đ
So, I can recommend this place. I stayed in few riads in different points of medina, and it was most comfortable place.

Absolutely beautiful Riad with the most amazing, attentive staff. From the initial booking of the Riad the staff were so helpful. Ishmail booked us a taxi from the airport and made us feel so welcome when we arrived giving us a tour of the Riad then offering us a mint tea and cookies on the terrace (with a beautiful rooftop pool with complementary towels). Ishmail then provided us with maps and showed us directions to the must see places - saadian tombs (few minutes walk) and the medina and souk are all within a short walk from the Riad. The interior design of the hotel is simply beautiful. The bedrooms are so relaxing and peaceful. We had a wonderful nights sleep and felt so welcome and looked after. We had a hammam at the riad (staff were again amazing). The breakfast (included) was delicious (fruit, yoghurt, juices, pancakes, bread, omelette, jams) and the menu served on the terrace was delicious. Thank you to Ishmail, Bashir, Mustapha, the hammam ladies and all the staff who made us so welcome at this beautiful Riad. We can't wait to come back again. â¤ď¸ amazing â¤ď¸

We stayed at this Riad for 3 nights from Thursday 7th Sept 2023 with another couple and were staying there the night of the devastating earthquake. More of that later. We had emailed the Riad ahead of time and were picked up at Marrakech Airport and subsequently taken back there and allowed to add the transfer cost to our rooms. On arrival we were met near the main road -Dar El Bacha and were walked to the Riad through small alleyways. Mustafa and Khalid introduced themselves and served hot Mint Tea. Patrick then have us a tour and shared the history of the refurbishment of the Riad including the strengthening of new foundations. Something we were subsequently truly thankful of. The whole team at this Riad deserve credit for the way they looked after guests following the earthquake on 8th Sept with Mustafa guiding us all out to stand in safety ahead of being allowed back inside. Each day a tasty breakfast was served with hot drinks, yoghurts and preserves and local Breads and fruit. Very tasty! Each day Mustafa or Mohamed would recommend places to visit and showed us on maps.me how to get there on smartphones without connectivity. The ladies who cleaned our Superior Rooms did so with a passion and always smiled and said hello when we saw them around the Riad. This was hospitality at its finest under the most stressful of circumstances for the RIad team some of whine couldnât initially contact their relatives to see if they were safe. Thank you to you all for a memorable stay. If you are reading this and are going to Marrakech donât consider anywhere else to stay - book here for a memorable stay. We had drinks on the roof terrace and the girls also had a swim in the Riadâs pool.

We checked in to our deluxe room, and it was a horrible stay. First off, the deluxe room building is the furthest building away from the hotel, and by the time we get to our room, the view from our balcony is of a construction site and parking lot. Our room had a particularly strong vinegar smell to it, and we asked to move rooms. We were told that every deluxe room was sold out and we would be able to move rooms the next day. Next day comes around and we didnât hear from the hotel. Every call to guest services took at least 3-5 minutes until someone answered or called back. We also came back to our hotel room unlocked, and it seemed housekeeping didnât truly close our door when they cleaned it. On our last night, the A/C didnât seem to work. We called guest services and the lady I spoke to told me that it was turned off for the whole hotel. When asked why or when will it be turned back on, she abruptly interrupts me and says Iâm transferring you to the front desk. I waited for at least 2 minutes on the phone before someone from the front desk to answer my call, and he informs me that someone will come check our A/C. We love staying at different hotels in different countries and had no issues with other hotels in Marrakech, however, our stay at Movenpick was very underwhelming and staff didnât seem to care at all. This has been a very awful experience, and hope that the hotel management can make a much better experience and improvement for others.

A basic and functional hotel in a fairly busy area. Expect noise from the road if you are on the front of the hotel. Staff were helpful and friendly. Pool on the rooftop was small but well maintained and has great views across the city to the old town.

GGuest UserAs very seasoned travelers, my family and I enjoy exploring the most amazing resorts and hotels around the world, which we look at with a very discriminating eye. For the Oberoi Marrakesh, it is truly difficult to find fault. The hotel, relatively new, is simply stunning with the impressive lobby and villas, as well as expansive gardens with 2700 olive trees. The acting General Manager Mamdouh is the perfect and consummate hotelier, ever present checking everything non-stop, to ensure the guest experience is nothing less than 5-stars. Jalal from their F&B outlet surprised us with an entire loaf of lemon cake to take back to London that was not available on two breakfasts which we sore missed after our first breakfast. El Habib is an amazing server ready to grant you at least three wishes with his magic lamp! Khalid the Duty Manager also asks non-stop how they can improve a service that is already par excellence. Our hats off to the amazing pastry chef who makes baked goods that rival the best Parisian patisserie. I saw the two staff who cleaned every machine in the fitness center using four sprays leaving neither dust nor germ â- they focus on the minutest detail. The whole team is just extremely well-trained and professional and very committed in their desire to exceed your expectations. The synchronization of their efforts, in the most natural and sincere manner, always with big smiles, translates to nothing less than less than a truly memorable experience. They know how to make you feel like Arab royalty! We will certainly be back!!! Thank you so much to all of you!!! Shukran! If you want that âpalace in the middle of the oasis experienceâ in Marrakesh, you will not get it any better than at the Oberoi!

From the moment of arrival, Moustapha and the other members of staff were very welcoming. We were kindly greeted with mint tea and Moroccan cake whilst we waited for our room to be prepared (we arrived at 10am). The riad is the perfect mix of authentic and modern, lined with tiles, comfortable seating and a peaceful atmosphere you will be grateful for in order to escape the bustling streets of Marrakesh. The rooms and communal areas are immaculate and the rooftop beds the perfect place to chill on an afternoon. Thereâs also a small pool on the ground floor for cooling down when the heat becomes too much. The breakfast is excellent with a mixture of traditional Moroccan breads, omelette, fruit and salad accompanied by mint tea and freshly squeezed orange juice. The perfect start for busy days! Moustapha could not have done anymore prior to arrival and whilst we were there. He helped arrange return transfers from the airport and was a fountain of local knowledge with guidance on navigating the streets of Marrakesh. If you are considering staying here then I urge you to book as you will not be disappointed!!!

I like this one better than the kingâs hotel. The Aman Group has always been an indicator of international luxury hotels. Itâs not the kind of gorgeous hotel that is resplendent and eye-catching when you enter it. Itâs very elegant⌠.
I like to collect beautiful hotels when I see them. I hope that I can experience them one day. I gradually found that many of the hotels I have collected belong to this group. This is the first time I stayed at Amanjena in Morocco under their umbrella. Amanjena Ruyi Tranquility...the store is as the name suggests, as soon as you walk in, you can feel the calm and relaxed feeling. All the staff are super polite (everyone), and they walk quietly...so that the guests are very comfortableâşď¸
It covers an area of ââ20 hectares but has only 40 rooms. During the stay, it is rare to see other guests with a high degree of privacy
Since I didnât have enough time to stay in Morocco this time, I chose the previous Royal Mansour Marrakech to stay for 2 nights, and this one in Amman for 1 night. After staying here, I regretted that I should turn around. It is only right to stay here for 2 nights.....đĽ˛

GGuest UserThis place is particularly good, the Chinese do not lie to the Chinese! ! When checking in, there will be mint tea and snacks to eat. The place to live is also very clean and bright. The air conditioner is very warm. It is still hot when you feel it (except that the toilet is a bit cold). The yard is very nice, very suitable for taking pictures, breakfast is delicious. The most important thing is that the people here are very good. I don't know the wifi password, so I called the front desk. A very polite gentleman came to help me lose. We left late the next day so wanted to leave our luggage here, they immediately agreed, and put our pizza in the refrigerator! When we came to get it, Miss Sister also said take your time, you can stay for a while and then leave, so I fell asleep in the yard... I heard someone talking in my ear in a daze, and opened my eyes and found that the gentleman who helped me enter the password yesterday told me that I could enter the room next to no one. Take off your shoes and sleep well on the bed. In short, I highly recommend everyone to stay! ! !

550jeniferpWe checked in in the morning, which we were very grateful to them for allowing us to do. Everyone was so kind and helpful even after we realized there was a problem with our reservation. They worked with us and never tried to charge us for the mistake even though they certainly could have (especially when it took a few days for our travel agent to fix it). The food was delicious, every single person was friendly and helpful. We also got massages at the spa and were so happy and relaxed. They even held our luggage for free for a few days while we went on an excursion. The rooms they gave us for the second half of our stay were even nicer than the first. They were in the process of filing the pool and we really enjoyed sitting out by it even though they were laying even more pretty tile (the hotel is very beautiful as it is, even nicer than the pictures). I will say the internet passwords kept expiring which was annoying, but they always gave us a new code without any issue except the minor inconvenience. We will definitely be back.

GGuest UserBeautiful Riad with exceptional staff. I stayed 6 nights and was grateful for the exceptional service. There are a lot of stairs -- that's everywhere in Morocco - but the the Riad experience is worth it. It's located in the Medina close to the gate - easy to find and also easy to get a taxi at the Medina entrance. Lovely, lovely experience.

GGuest UserI recently stayed at this hotel and had a disappointing experience with the front desk staff, specifically the two girls on duty during my check-in at 9 PM. Despite my reservation, I had to wait over 30 minutes for a room, which turned out to be different from the one I booked. Despite informing them of our anniversary, the staff's response was unhelpful. The initial room's view was changed without acknowledgment, and the alternative offered was worse. Only after speaking to the manager ( it's worth noting that the manager I spoke to was exceptionally friendly and understanding) did we receive a better room, but it still wasn't the one we booked. The lack of consideration for our special occasion made it a frustrating experience overall.

MMr.PushkinI wouldnât recommend this hotel, the reception staff are very rude ,we called the reception in the afternoon to send someone to fix the AC ,no one was sent ,we came back to the hotel around 2 oâclock in the morning, the security guard stopped us and made us wait until the receptionist came to check our documents ,(we asked again for the AC technician),Marrakesh is beautiful city but this hotel has the power to ruin your stay.

Our host, Iheb, truly deserves the title of a legend. From the moment we checked in until we checked out, he made our stay memorable. Whilr it may not be a 5-star hotel, it provided a unique and authentic Moroccan experience that exceeded our expectations.
The riad itself, with its traditional architecture, was clean and inviting. The highlight was undoubtedly the serene terrace, a peaceful oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the medina. One evening, we indulged in sheesha on the terrace, a delightful experience that only cost us around 70 MAD. We also had the pleasure of dining on the terrace, where we enjoyed delicious tagines at a very reasonable price of 60 MAD each. The chef's culinary skills were truly impressive. The breakfast served each morning was traditional and homely too!
What made our stay truly special was the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by Iheb and the staff. We arrived as guests but left feeling like friends. We were even befriended by the two adorable resident kittens, Sofia, the long-haired tabby, and Leena, the ginger kitten. Their presence added an extra touch of charm to our stay.
The location of Riad Jibril was perfect, and the camel in front of the money exchange served as an excellent landmark. The riad was on the opposite alleyway, second door, making it easy to find. We especially enjoyed its proximity to Kasbah, near Zeitun Cafe, a favorite spot of ours to visit at night. The lantern-lit terrace at the cafe provided majestic views that made our evenings even more memorable.
