Standard Ibis Budget stay. Nothing different. Location ok. Cleanliness ok. Elevator is plus.

Not bad

It's a bit far from Marseille Central Station, but it's a very clean and nice place. There are frequent trains from Central Station to Blancarde Station, so you can get there~~

Excellent service, attentive people, great breakfast.

Worth going and enjoying this hotel

Very well located for me who was for the first time in this city and the lovely staff. I highly recommend this establishment.

Well what can I say about this hotel, ibis should be ashamed to put there name to it, we've stayed in loads of hotels all over the world, and I have to say,this is the worst we've stayed at, for customer service, facilities and room. Where do I start ,I'm by nature, not a negative person. However, i work in a customer service environment and expect certain basic standards, like manners and respect that people have spent there hard earned at the place you work. We checked in at about 22.30 ,and from first impressions we thought, ***, the fella on the desk was sitting outside, and it was like we had caused and inconvenience to him, by taking him away from his mates, we knew then that had set the standard. After about 20 minutes, we finally got to our room, it was boiling hot, put the air con on, and it was obviously that didn't work, I then decided to have a shower, well I can pea faster then that, the shower wouldn't even move up the pole,it was stuck at waste height, with water pouring out the bottom hose,the towel we were given was ripped, the sink in the room is ridiculous, the noise from the streets at night is ridiculous, would probably be OK, if you could shut the windows, and have the Air con working, but it wasn't, so we had to have the window open,otherwise we would of baked. There was no staff interaction, on any day, that's if you saw any, the hotel is called ibis budget, budget by name, budget by nature, we were charged 90 euros a night, which for me ,is not a budget price, we feel we've been ripped off, imo the hotel is worth 40 euro a night maximum, we won't be staying at any ibis hotels ever again. It is absolutely shocking, and I don't say that lightly.

Checked in for 3 night stay. Air conditioning not working in room. Asked at reception if this could be addressed. Was not fixed during 3 days and only help given was a small fan for the room. With small child in room the window could not be opened fully, so an uncomfortable stay. Was promised a fix on day one but nothing after 3 days and no reply from hotel manager to my complaint.

Great Staff! Perfect for a couple in this amazing old city! They helped us in everything we needed! We recommend to use the metro to visit the vieux port area, its outrageous! Go to calanques, Frioul and If, you are going to love it! Dont get the city pass, its better buying single tickets. We love this magical city 👏

I am still waiting for the legitimate reimbursement that the Hotel should give me. Vhamnre booked and PAID on an external reservation site, I stay at the hotel the night of February 3, 2024 and I am charged again for the night. Reimbursement promised the next day and bank details sent... but no follow-up for more than three weeks, despite my emails and calls to the switchboard where I am tirelessly told that we are "passing on the message". I think this is simply the definition of THEFT.

We travel throughout Europe and always choose ibis budget. The style is the same everywhere, but I don't understand why the breakfast is so different. It was more expensive here than the other locations, and maybe because it was Sunday morning but the only thing that tasted was the coffee. The bread was old and just crumbled in your hands, the choice was a cheese or sweet that tasted nothing, no brie or meat as we are used to. The arrival was also a disappointment when I was told that you have to pay for parking (normally this is always reported when booking). Our room was clearly smoked in, I noticed it upon entering and there was a cigarette fire alarm in the laundry bin. There was also a smell of musty air freshener (think to disguise the smoke smell). It is also noticeable that all ibis hotels are too warm during the winter months. Location is favorable, close to restaurants and a perfect Indian next door!

The hotel is a little far from the port, the rooms in the non-smoking area smell like cigarettes, the Wi-Fi is terrible, the cleanliness is average and leaves a lot to be desired. I recommend it to stay for a maximum of one or two nights, for that price you can find better ones.

Budget hotel. Like all budget ibis hotels, the room is minimal: very small, without a hairdryer and with a sink and shower in the room (separate toilet). I would say suitable for a short stay or as a base for the night, no more. The rooms do not have a balcony, therefore a little uncomfortable for smokers who necessarily have to go out of the structure; Possibility to park the car in the covered underground garage (not recommended as it is dirty and narrow, therefore difficult to enter and exit) or outside in a private car park of the structure (cost €8 per day). I appreciated the location close to McDonald's, a petrol pump and a few steps from a supermarket and the metro station (blue line). I recommend traveling by public transport in the evening, during the day it is also very doable on foot: in about 35 minutes of walking you can reach the old port, the heart of the city. Good price (though consider that the city is cheap and that it is a 2 star). I particularly appreciated the final gift collected at reception: Marseille soap as a souvenir of the holiday.
