Hotel dicht tegen het centrum (op wandelafstand 5 min) Kamers zijn voldoende groot met ruim terras, goeie airco, kluis en frigo. Matras aan de harde kant. Ontbijt is basic en diner is te vaak ondermaats. Desserts telkens 1 schamel gebakje en elke dag watermeloen. Personeel is wisselvallig, sommige vriendelijk andere geven zelfs geen goede dag. Rustig gelegen en pluspunt is dat handdoekje leggen verboden is. Steeds wel een plaatsje dus aan het zwembad. ATM aan de deur is handig. Mijn raad is ; boek dit hotel gerust met ontbijt maar geen half pension. Je kan veel gezelliger en lekkerder eten in het zeer nabije Matala.

This was disappointing. Booked a room for 4 and was told when I got to the hotel that there were no rooms available, but I should get an extra bed in the room. When we returned after dinner at the restaurant at midnight, there was no bed. The person at the reception just said that there was no bed available. Got an extra room on another floor. This room was filthy and had no working A/C! No refund or compensation after discussions with the hotel. The restaurant in the hotel was far below average. This hotel is not recommended! There are many other local rooms and houses that maintain a much better standard at a lower price!

Wij kunnen Matala Bay Hotel & Apartments alleen maar heel erg aanbevelen! Het heeft een ideale ligging, de sfeer is er rustig en ongedwongen. Heel flexibel in hun regelingen. Proper, maar verwacht geen luxe kamer, gewoon in orde, goed bed, deftige badkamer en met airco. Zeer vriendelijk personeel! Super fijne vakantie gehad!

Rien à voir avec ce qui est en photo sur les sites de réservation. Chambre vétuste, sale, mauvaises odeurs. Personnel désagréable, surtout le patron et les garçons à l'accueil. Un attrape touriste ! Il y a d'autres hôtels proches et beaucoup mieux.

The appartments are way off from the hotel. Maybee 1-2 Miles.. why par for the Beach accessability when u need to drive there? The appartment has only one bathroom, not 2. No wahing mashine. No pool. No externa lights. No reading lamps in bedroom. The paint is peeling off, poor build quility and dangerous appliances.

Een zeer net hotel. Ontbijt en diner goed verzorgd. Matrassen misschien iets aan de harde kant. Mooi zwembad. Alles op loopafstand van het centrum. ATM voor de deur. En Robert staat bij het ontbijt altijd klaar met een grote glimlach.

Location of the hotel was good and it had a pool which was useful on windy days and unusual for the area. The food at breakfast was very repetitive, however it was nice to have fresh yogurt and honey. At dinner, no soft drinks or water were provided which is the first time we’ve ever encountered this on a half board package. If we wanted water, we had to buy a 500 ml bottled water for 1€ which was 25 cents in local stores. The room was a nice and beds were made everyday, although linen and towels could have been changed more often. Not all staff were friendly and made us feel uncomfortable at times.
