Wunderschöne Unterkunft in einem stilvoll restaurierten Schloss. Die Gastgeber erklärten die regionalen Speisen beim Service. Sehr schöne Parkanlagen, Benützung des Swimmingpools. Wirklich ruhige Lage zum erholen. Gastgeber sehr freundlich.

Mit einer Freundin habe ich ein paar Tage in der Region Yverdon verbracht und wir haben im sehr sympathischen Château de Mathod verbracht. Unser Aufenthalt hat mit einem herzlichen Empfang von Yannick und Nicolas in diesem wunderschönen Anwesen gestartet und wir wurden von ihnen sehr verwöhnt. Alles ist sehr sauber und stilvoll eingerichtet im Château de Mathod, die Zimmer mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Zum Willkommen hatte es ein Cookie und Erdbeeren und Mineralwasser auf dem Zimmer. Das Frühstück sollte man unbedingt mit einbuchen, es hat eine Auswahl an leckeren Speisen, Brot aus der Bäckerei von Mathod und viele regionale Lebensmittel. Yannick+Nicolas helfen gerne auch mit Tipps zu Ausflügen oder Restaurants. Das Schloss liegt etwas ausserhalb von Yverdon (ca. 7km), es ist wunderbar ruhig, inmitten der Natur und am Morgen wird man sanft von den Vogelstimmen geweckt. Idylle pur! Wir haben herrliche Tage verbracht im Château de Mathod und werden es sicher weiterempfehlen und/oder selber wiederkommen!

Il y aurait 6 je mettrais 6. Tout était parfait. L'accueil sympathique, la chambre bien décorée avec frigo, machine à café, de quoi faire du thé. Le petit déjeuner est plein de produits faits maison ou locaux. C'est au calme. Nous avons aussi profité du Hammam et du Spa qui sont très agréables. Vraiment un beau moment. Merci à nos hôtes pour leur gentillesse et leur serviabilité

Ich habe ein Wochenende allein im Château de Mathod verbracht und konnte die Auszeit in vollen Zügen geniessen. Das Anwesen ist wunderschön und perfekt zum Entspannen - Mathod ist ein ruhiger Ort und die Gärten, das Hamam, die Sauna und der Whirlpool des Schlosses sind eine perfekte Ergänzung, um sich selbst abseits vom Alltagsstress eine Weile lang zu verwöhnen. Für die Sauna etc. würde ich empfehlen, im Voraus mitzuteilen, wann Sie sie nutzen wollen. Die Einrichtung ist wunderschön und die zu Verfügung gestellten Pflegeprodukte duften himmlisch! Darüber hinaus waren die Besitzer äusserst herzlich und zuvorkommend, wofür ich sehr dankbar war. Das Frühstücksbuffet mitzubuchen lohnt sich, meiner Meinung nach - es gibt eine tolle Auswahl an deftigen und süssen Optionen. Für das Abendessen kann ich das Restaurant Le Bras d'Or nebenan empfehlen - es bietet eine leckere, eher traditionelle Küche an. Ich komme liebend gerne wieder, am liebsten im Sommer, wenn der Pool zugänglich ist!

Tout était excellent. Top. La gentillesse des hôtes, leur serviabilité, le pt.-déj. copieux avec plein de produits locaux, le grand espace de la chambre....Tout était parfait. Le silence....on pouvait dormir la fenêtre ouverte...., la salle de bain très moderne et spacieuse, le lit et la literie, le service, l'ameublement, l'immense jardin, le restaurant voisin...on reviendra.

Accueil sans faille du propriétaire qui donne quelques informations sur la propriété et la mise en valeur de la biodiversité. Chambre bien grande et calme. Ambiance du vécu de la demeure. Salle de bain au top avec produits maison. Et pour terminer un vrai café expresso dans la chambre. A recommander

Le Château de Mathod est très bel établissement qui a été parfaitement rénové avec de nobles matériaux. Cinq chambres d’hôtes au calme et petit déjeuner copieux avec des produits salés et sucrés. Très bon accueil. Une adresse incontournable à Mathod.

Das Château ist wunderschön gelegen. Der Garten, der Pool und die Zimmer mit viel Liebe hergerichtet. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Ein Ruheort zum entspannen. DieGastgeber Yannick & Nicolas sind sehr zuvorkommend und geben Tipps für Ausflüge, Restaurants in der Umgebung. Bei der Abreise durften wir das Zimmer sogar länger nutzen, was sehr angenehm war. Kurz gesagt : wir kommen sicher wieder!!!!!

We spent a week here recently and enjoyed it. Lovely family who own it and a relaxed atmosphere. Everyone very helpful. The breakfast was very nice , croissants delicious, but not particularly substantial in comparison to other places we have stayed at.
