Mooie, ruime kamer met zicht op de Alpen. Zeer proper. Gezien de warmte, was airco echter welkom geweest. Elke avond buiten gegeten op het mooie terras met zicht op de prachtige tuin. De gerechten zijn zeer heerlijk en de desserts zijn om U tegen te zeggen. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We komen hier zeker nog terug.

I visit the Parkhotel every year on the way to Italy or back. Perfect location and quiet. I like the restaurant and the beer garden behind the house. Josef has been a waiter there for years and has had everything under control. Service is exemplary, gastronomic pleasure for little money or luxury steak. It all depends on your taste! Be sure to try the cordon bleu and treat yourself to a Zillertaler Zwickl. Wonderful.

We were looking for a place to stay for one night on our way to Italy. The hotel is 5 minutes from the Brenner motorway and you can book a room without breakfast. This suited us as we were leaving at 6am. We were put in room 307. If you want a bright, light-filled room, this is not the place for you. We didn't care as we were only there for one night. The room is functionally furnished. The "couch chair" was faded and the mattresses were pretty worn. In the bathroom, the sink is on a wooden shelf that desperately needs some TLC. The bath rug was frayed (but clean). The hallway to the room could use a vacuum and the walls could do with a fresh coat of paint. The room itself was super clean. With the windows closed, you can't hear anything from the motorway or the train. When we were there, the outside temperature was 8 degrees and we slept with the windows closed. If it were any higher, it would probably be too warm in the room and there is no air conditioning. We had our dog with us - that costs €12.50 extra. The food in the in-house restaurant was excellent. Josef, the waiter, is great.

Das Essen im Hotel war super. Das Personal war super nett. Sehr freundlich und gerne auch für einen Scherz bereit. Ich hatte ein Schnitzel das super Gewürz mit einem noch warmen Kartoffelsalat sehr zu empfehlen. Das Zimmer war ganz oben hatte nur kleine Fenster. War aber Sauber und für eine Nacht ausreichend. Leider waren die Betten sehr durchgelegen.

Auf der Reise an den Gardasee ,haben wir im Parkhotel Matrei eine Zwischenübernachtung gehabt.Das war eine sehr gute Idee. Das Hotel verfügt über einen Gästeparkplatz direkt am Hotel. Wir wurden vom Personal sehr herzlich empfangen. Das Zimmer war perfekt und wäre auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt gut gewesen . Das Hotel ist wundervoll eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Essen sowohl am Abend, als auch am nächsten Morgen das Frühstück waren sehr lecker. Der Kellner war eine wahre Frohnatur und immer für einen Scherz aufgelegt. Das brachte eine Super Stimmung aber auch das andere Personal war, wie man merkte sehr gut ausgebildet. Wir können das Hotel nur wärmstens weiter empfehlen . Das Hotel ist eine Reise nach Matrei wert. Bei unserer nächsten Reise werden wir dort sicher wieder eine Zwischenübernachtung einplanen.

We stayed for one night to break up the journey home from Germany. Very nice hotel, with a nice park where you can relax or where the children can play. Very spacious and comfortable room, as well as the bathroom. Courteous staff, the owner also speaks Italian. We had dinner at the property and it was all very good.
