Tamatsukuri Grand Hotel Choseikaku

The building is old, but the interior has been renovated with calm colors, and the 3300m2 Japanese garden that can be seen from the lobby is a beautiful sight. The large bath, which is generously paved with agate power stones, is spacious and beautiful with three colors of blue, red and white stones, and there are many washing areas, so you won't feel stressed even if it's crowded. The open-air bath is also large and open, so it's very relaxing. In addition, the men's and women's baths are switched the next morning, so you can enjoy a variety of options. The prices are a little high, but the food is delicious and I was able to relax and enjoy the beauty-enhancing hot springs.

The Wi-Fi speed was fast and a large air cleaner was installed in the room. The futon was caught in the middle of the day and was comfortable. The futon, room, bath, and all were kept clean and cozy. The open-air bath had a key locker, with various makeup water and emulsions. The dryer was very powerful and the floor was clean. The open-air bath was a bit small, but it was very nice. The hot springs warmed up and the skin was very moist. Breakfast buffet is the best. I went at 7, but I was able to spend it slowly. 8 It was crowded before, so it might be better to come before that. There is no convenience store near the hotel. The shop in the hotel is not so good, but the matcha ice cream here was very delicious. I want to eat again. The price is a bit high, but I was able to spend a good time. I think I received a service that was suitable for the price.

It was unusual for me to take off my shoes before entering, but I was glad that it was clean. It felt especially good indoors. All breakfasts were delicious and satisfying. In particular, I would like to thank you for preparing the tempura in front of me. And with a smile. The good thing about the massage device in front of the bath. Of course, there is nothing bad about hot springs! Thank you for staying with us. We ate out for dinner, and the fish was delicious, the food was delicious, and the staff at the restaurant had great smiles (it's a restaurant called Murakumo). It's hard to find anything bad about this restaurant. I fell in love with Shimane on this trip.
Cocoreto the Guesthouse Daikon Island

I feel like I found a treasure when I stayed at this guesthouse. Everything about it is peaceful. To start, you are on the tiny Daikonshima Island. Then when you enter the small guesthouse, all the details and design make you feel comfortable and at home. The beds are cosy and give you privacy, and there are views out over the fields. It is right down the road from the famous Yuushien garden. You can also rent bicycles for an affordable price to peacefully explore the tiny island. The host is kind and will make you feel safe and at home. He speaks wonderful English and I really enjoyed talking with him as I learned about Daikonshima.
International Hotel Tamatsukuri

Because it was raining in the weather forecast that I checked in advance, I gave up hanging around the hot spring town and wanted to see the famous Lake Horido! I took the inn here away from the hot spring town. The room was also renewed in a room with a view of Lake Hodo, and I was able to spend it comfortably. In addition, the hot spring has a shuttle bus to the hotel choseien of the sister hall, and it is possible to enter the vast open-air bath like a pool called 100 Tsubo (with mixed bath bath bath) I had a really enjoyable experience. In addition, I also tasted the open-air bath that can see the lake in this hotel, and it is a simultaneous gain. This shuttle bus connects JR stations, hotels and sister buildings in hot spring towns, so you can enjoy the hot spring town on your way back and then send it to the station, and the quiet scenery of the lake view I think you can enjoy the bustle of the hot spring town and become a reliable foot for tourists.

Stayed in the Cloud room with a private onsen in the balcony facing an awesome view of the lake. Room was clean and spacious with a generous supply of amenities. Visited the public bath as well but was nothing impressive. Beer and yakult was provided free of charge in the hotel lobby. Note that if you are traveling with young children, they change an extra ¥2500 per child just for them to be in the room, no extra beds provided and breakfast is a separate charge. Breakfast served was exquisite and in a private dining room which we appreciate. Overall nice experience but just one night is enough as the town is very quiet and the room price is very steep.
