This was my 3rd trip to Mauritius second stay at Paul et Virginie Grand Gaub my second stay was at Veranda Hotel in Grand Bay due to renovations. I visited this time with a friend as I wanted to share the wonderful hospitality, meet the most beautiful peace loving people and basically enjoy all that Mauritius has to offer. I was very impressed with the newly renovated Paul et Virginie. From the moment we arrived at the hotel we were impressed by the staff that greeted us and assisted us with showing us our room, sadly I don't remember there names but they were outstanding. I was so delighted to meet the staff that I had met over 8 years ago. Awmee and his bar staff welcomed me like a long lost friend and he and his staff made sure that we had everything that we needed and ensured that our glasses were always full and that we had snacks to keep us going until dinner. What a wonderful hard working team that should be commended. The food was amazing such a fabulous range prepared and cooked again by wonderful hard working staff the waiters and waitresses always on the move to ensure that you have all that you need nothing is a problem. The omelettes at breakfast and the afternoon pancakes just delightful, as well as the little snacks on the side. Congratulations to the entire Kitchen team Chefs kitchen hands waiters waitresses that made our food so lovely with such variety and choice, the cleaners worked tirelessly and kept all the areas in the dinning room sparkling . Well done team. I still have a wonderful tingle when I think of the most Devine relaxing massages pedicures and manicures that I had which always sent me off into a blissful sleep. Again wonderful amazing staff who wrap you up and make you feel so relaxed. Looking forward to my return when I can have that experience again. I was again delighted to meet Karen who works in the little hotel shop and again was greeted like a long lost friend, I very much enjoyed talking to her about my family and her new family, even managed to do a little shopping. Karen does such a great job and is a wonderful ambassador for the hotel so very helpful. The entertainment team the wonderful Dany who I had met 8 years ago what an emotional reunion, Dany just keeps going and talks with all of the guest making sure that they are enjoying there stay and he has extensive knowledge of trips and tours on the island were to go and what to see. I was trilled to finally met his family when they came to the hotel one night, and had fond memories of being invited to his sisters house some years before and sharing a meal with them, Dany goes above and beyond and is certainly a credit to the hotel. Miguel who works with Dany such a delight lots of laughter great entertainment, and life long memories made with these 2 guys. Miguel has so much energy and engages with everyone, getting them involved even the water aerobics were high energy and lots of fun. Well done team Keep doing what you do. Our lovely room 412 w

Food and drink were great. Staff were very welcoming. Only DJ and some nice music were missing on a Saturday nice. Otherwise very nice stay and amazing staff. Definitely recommend for couple. Very quiet and peaceful. Super clean room and comfy.

We went for our honeymoon and had a brilliant stay. All the staff were attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and we would recommend going all inclusive. Water sports, spa facilities, gym, evening live entertainment and other activities such as cookery class were fantastic. Also our room was cleaned frequently which we appreciated. We would 100% recommend. The weather may be better in September. Also the La Vallee des Colleurs was worth a visit!

The only issue I had was with the cleaning as there was 2 days where the cleaners didn't come and we out the sign up but nothing so we called reception and they came through, that was the only issue otherwise had an amazing and beautiful experience, the staff are really friendly, there is so much activities at the hotel. Sitting in the infinity pool was so peaceful and water activities were unforgettable. The breakfast was delicious I will never forget the amazing omlettes I had, compliments to all the chefs the breakfast was well presented and taste amazing.
