The Manager, Kim Barton, was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and fresh smelling. We asked for extra towels and they were right there with them. Parking was easy and we felt very safe staying there. Great location for the events we went to down town. All within walking distance. Nice breakfast, Kim kept the bananas fresh and well stocked.

We will not stay here again. Room 316 should be the ice machine room. The ice room has a great view of the ocean. The north 4th and 5th floors would give you a nice partial ocean view and the South side 2nd floor and above are good. We asked to be moved but it was a no. The board walk area with benches is a lovely place to sit and the beach is great but there are no chair rentals which is disappointing if you fly in. We bought chairs that we will have to throw away but it seems foolish that the hotel can’t provide them.

The front desk staff, in particular Paulette, went out of their way and deserve special recognition for their work and efforts. Excellent communication and customer service! The hotel itself is showing its age. Attention to detail would help. Hair conditioner was mounted next to the bathroom sink instead of lotion. The insert on the bathroom door was missing. Towel edges were frayed. Bed sheets were ill fitting. We were a little nervous of the area when we pulled in. The hotel itself is towards the end of a dead end, across from a lot that appears to store RV’s , cars and trucks….in a rather industrial area right off the interstate. We did not have any problems though. The location also lent itself to being very close to multiple eateries and a Publix. Not too far away. We were suprised to find a chaise lounge instead of a couch in our room, so the seating was limited in the room also. The breakfast was mundane. All three days it was cheese omelets, sausage and the last day potatoes were added. Oatmeal and waffles were always available. No fresh cut fruit but apples and sometimes bananas. The computer is located in the small breakfast eating area. It did not work for the three days we were here, we were told they were waiting for the contractor to come in and see what was wrong. We used the fitness room… there is a treadmill, exercise, bike, elliptical, weights, and a peloton. It was very stuffy in there, I was told they turn down the air when it gets cool at night, and sometimes forgot to turn it back on in there. Upon request, it was turned on and fine.

The room was large and I had a quiet room. Parking is free. The breakfast is complete and it happens to have blueberries. There are also crocodiles in the pond outside the hotel. Ctrip booking is very convenient.

Stayed there for a soccer tournament in the area. Everything was great. Nice bar & lounge for watching sports. Guest laundry washing & drying machines was a plus! Will stay there for future games in that area!

I was so sad when I seen my room; there where so many problems that honestly had I not paid so much money I would have just left! Mold, broken furniture, broken outlets, very little lighting, ant in the sink. The tub would not drain and the bathroom would get condensation on the door jam even if we were gone all day if you shut the bathroom door, internet was horrible, dial up is faster and they are literally off the interstate you here the fire trucks and police and semis all night! You don’t find staff members unless it is one older gentleman he was great the rest were MIA I did see a few smoking outside from my window from time to time but if I needed them nope, they like their towels, you have to turn your original 4 in to get more which is fine but you get 1 back and sorry but 1 towel for 2 people doesn’t work for me! When asked it is oh this is our policy! And they don’t clean the rooms while you are there at all because of COVID so you set your garbage outside the door they give you a bag but you don’t get sheets, or wash cloths or anything and if you want toilet paper you have to go down to the lobby and request it! It was a long exhausting week!

The motel is clean and the service is good. But we stay at dozens of motels and hotels every year, and this is the first time we have walked in to Fox News blaring loudly. Motels with TVs on often have the Weather Channel, or the local TV station, or USA or A&E or Hallmark, all fine choices. In the same way that I don't want Fox, I wouldn't want a motel to have MSNBC on its TV. I just want to feel to stay at a place where everyone feels welcome, and with Fox News on, especially at such high volume, I feel unwelcome.. The desk clerk told me it was the choice of the guest watching, but the next morning when we came to breakfast the guest was gone and Fox News was still on. Otherwise a good place to stay, although I would like to have soap in bars. I don't think COVID prevents giving guests wrapped soap in bars.

One downside was a loud neighbor, but she settled down about 10:30. Unfortunately, she woke up at 5:30……
Not in control of hotel, I know. But next time we use this hotel, I will be sure that my room doesn’t have an adjoining room door. Made the sound like it was in the room.
Despite the noisy neighbor, we will definitely use this hotel again. Everything else that was in control of the hotel was very good.

GGuest UserWe stayed at the hotel for 10 nights during a family visit to the city. It really met our expectations. The hotel may be a bit outdated in terms of interior, but it was clean and fresh and there was nothing to complain about regarding the cleanliness. The staff was very accommodating on all levels. The pool is small, but clean and nice to visit. It is sheltered so when the sun is roasting it gets hot there. Sunbeds and towels can be borrowed free of charge. Free safe at reception. We never tried the breakfast, so it's unclear what it was like. You could buy snacks and fast food in the foyer. Microwaves and coffee makers are available in the rooms. Coffee capsules, three a day are usually available, but it was just to ask the cleaning ladies for more, when it ran out. Free parking. On the street, which is long, there are several good restaurants. The street (192) also leads to downtown (which was not much to see) and the bridge (one of them) leading out to Melbourne's beaches. About 15 min drive from The Hotel. The Hotel has a small but ok gym.

GGuest UserAfter a long flight from the UK it was great to pull out of the airport in our rental vehicle and arrive at the hotel only a few minutes later. We had booked a junior suit with balcony and were not disappointed. The staff on the desk were really friendly and provided everything we asked for. We ate at the restaurant within the hotel and was really surprised at the food choice available, considering it was quite late in the evening. The young lady at the restaurant was really good. She was very polite, professional and had a great sense of humour. Check out the next morning was seamless before we set off to our final destination. All in all I would definitely recommend the hotel and the staff. Really pleasant one night stay. Have already booked for our next stay.

GGuest UserThe hotel was great. I loved the oceanfront view, especially higher up. Mr. Joe at the front desk was very courteous and most helpful. The restaurant inside the hotel was great. Brian who rent out the umbrella and chairs (get there early to rent for the entire day $40) was also very respectful and laid back. The only problem I have is paying for parking at $9.95 per day. It is a hidden cost that if a person is on a tight could run into problems at the end of their stay. Oh, since COVID, you must request housekeeping ahead of time if you want your room cleaned. Overall love my stay and hopefully will return soon.

GGuest UserI have 3 daughters all under 8. We stay here long term and we love it here. We’re comfortable and the place is clean. The staff is super helpful and very friendly. Shelly is amazing behind the desk and Symone makes sure the place is always clean and under control. The pool gets cleaned regularly too! Highly recommend staying here with family.
