the location of the hotel is very convenient with lots of food options available nearby. it is also very well maintained and beautifully decorated. it was a nice stay.

Got a deluxe king but got an upgrade from the hotel. Cozy, gym swimming pool.

Clean, friendly, amazing value for money, great location, beautiful pool and hot tub

Great hotel close to city center near Coles and Southern Cross station, very convenient. There is a swimming pool, sauna room, steam room, arcade, and gym for all guests to use for free. Rooms are clean and spacious, but the heating can be improved. Amenities are provided in the bathroom.

Located in the heart of Melbourne CBD, next to the parliament station. Tram just in front of hotel.

The pluses are 1. relatively well maintained & new property 2. strategic location 3. approachable front office staff & breakfast staff 4. decent fresh breakfast in a pleasant and clean environment. The major minus is the room is not properly cleaned when we checked in. Hairs, dusty & dried watermark on bedside table. On a daily basis, only cursory housekeeping ie making of beds ,change of used towels & emptying of waste bins. No daily vacuuming, no wiping of surfaces and no changing of the used mugs(coffee & tea) & teaspoons . I had to formally make a request for freshly cleaned mugs. A properly clean room would hv made my stay a more pleasurable one.

The hotel is in a good location. The room is of a good size, very clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. In short, I had a very good stay and experience in Dorsett Melbourne.

Great location. Super clean and tidy. My concern is that they did not provide tooth brush , tooth paste and slippers readily available in the room. I have to call the room service to provide those. But the check in and check out process is very fast and they even offer you if you want to leave your bags with them while you need to go somewhere even you already checked out. Very lovely frontdesk personnel. Overall, its a good stay.

The location is closed to train station and skybus. It’s good for travelers who will visit different attractions. Also, you could take free tram from city to hotel.

Excellent hotel with great service and great location! The swimming pool and gum are very nice, we can’t wait to plan our next visit here again:)

Awesome Romantic Getaway... My wife and I loved our stay at the Dorsett. Location was spot on, Decor and Guest service was warm and welcoming from Reception. We really appreciated the upgrade we received and complimentary late checkout. Juniour Suite had so much space and loved the shower. The pillows were very comfortable and firmness of the King bed was perfect. We utilized the Gym and Pool facilities and were really impressed with the state of the art gym equipment. Buffet breakfast was standard and was surprised when we arrived to be told that breakfast was about to close at 1030 (im sure she miscommunicated this). All in all, we loved our stay and will return in the future.
