Caybeach Meloneras

We were super happy with this hotel! Our room was spacious, clean, and had a lovely private terrace – perfect for relaxing. The pools were fantastic, especially the larger one, which was our favorite – plenty of space and no crowding at all. The gym was very good, and the service was excellent everywhere. The location was peaceful, away from the busy tourist streets, but close enough to walk to everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious and served in a lovely spot with a sea view. Thank you for an amazing week! I would absolutely consider Caybeach Melorenas for future trips.

Very poor , pictures need to be more inline with the current state. Kitchen equipment is poor ,you don't even get an electric kettle. Air con doesn't work. No tv remote And our bedroom door was broken. And make it worse it was supposed to be a premium set up ! Absolute joke massively over priced

My wife and I stayed at the Caybeach Melonaras at the end of September.I am disabled and use a wheelchair. We arrived in the evening and unfortunately our room on the vast complex was at the bottom of the site. As it was dark and we had never stopped at Caybeach before we got lost 3 times going backwards and forwards on certain ramps. Thankfully a dutch couple could see how frustrated we were and helped with our 2 cases and me with my wheelchair. There was no help from any staff. Caybeach is full of dozens stairs from the top to the bottom of the site. There are ramps. I hired an electric mobility scooter to help me, but was told by the reception staff that I couldn't drive the scooter through the reception to get to our room. The local travel representative had to intervene to tell the staff that I would not be able to get to our room if I wasn't allowed to use one of the 2 ramps from the reception. If anyone has mobility issues with either a wheelchair, walking sticks or crutches we do not believe Caybeach would be a good place to stay. Our accommodation was fine and the facilities around it were good, pool,sunbeds etc. My wife and I would never stop at Caybeach Melonaras ever again. In future we will stay in Melonaras at a hotel that will give some understanding to disability needs.

Bungalow room is okay. No electric kettle which is odd. Beds comfortable & air con good. Maid service very good, 5 days weekly. Staff on site pleasant & helpful. Lots of sunbeds if you like lazy days by pool. Stayed B&B, breakfast choices plentiful. We do a lot of walking, about 15 minute walk to Meloneras shopping/restaurants. Gets busy in main restaurants at shopping centre. Bus terminal about 15 minutes away with regular buses to different parts of island. Would recommend The 19th hole for live evening entertainment which starts at 10pm, cracking music & service. Shops are mainly designer shops, good choices if you want to spend money. Would we return? No, only because we wanted to check out the area & we’ve done it now. Accommodation is nice. Tip. Decent restaurants behind shopping centre Downside. Slight hill walk to accommodation when returning. Room we were in is far end of site, which is stretch of a walk & not helpful when trying to find late at night on arrival.

Went here for the second time in three months, it’s a very relaxing place plenty of sun beds and three fair size pools which are kept spotless,breakfast and dinner are good and the staff are very friendly and helpful, there is a onsite bar which also serves food and drinks and is run by really nice people, and they have occasional entertainment, rooms are kept clean and showers etc are of a good standard , it’s a good 15 minute walk to the beach and restaurants and bars, taxis are cheap but attitude of drivers not good, there are a good number of restaurants and bars , spoilt for choice, so if you want a relaxing holiday with good food and rooms this is the place,just one thing I personally wouldn’t bother with the superior rooms as they are too small just go for the classic room as they have more space

Given that it was late at night when we arrived . We were handed a map of sorts and given directions !!! Now it would have been very helpful had there been someone on reception to take us to our room because it was at the far end of the complex. Another thing we found out on checkout was that the fridge was supposed to have water etc. But I cannot fault this place . The staff in the restaurant, pool bar and the maids very friendly, spotless complex, quiet, relaxing. No shortage of sunbeds. Just an observation about our room was that it could do with being freshened up ( bathroom and cupboards a bit dated ). Very comfortable beds and pillows. Would I go back DEFINITELY

Second time staying here and was just as good as first time around. Lovely hotel in a nice quiet location with plenty of shops and bars just a 10 mins walk away. Room was lovely and we were lucky enough to get one right by the pool so very handy. Clean and spacious with maid service 5 days out of 7. Plenty of sunbeds at pools and wasn’t overly crowded. Had breakfast and dinner a couple of times and both were good value for money with plenty of choice. We ate lunch most days at Taste Pool Bar which was great. Staff were very friendly and we got to keep our room for a later checkout too which was perfect. Would definitely come back

Great time lovey complex my only complaint would be it would be great to make the large pool adult only as the lithe 3 pools could be used by children. Would let adults who are not with children have a relaxing area if this was to happen I would consider returning. Great for family’s.

Our second visit: We arrived late, reception was still open and so was the bar and were greeted by staff we had met 8 years ago. I must say we had the best duplex on the site, we had previously stayed in the lower area of the resort. This time we had a Sea view, close to reception, the top pool and the pool bar. The Pool Bar was a little pricey but we enjoyed the pizza's and snacks. The staff at the pool bar were friendly and very polite. Drinks are a little pricey and yes you could pop to the on-site Super Market and get stuff cheaper. We spent most lunchtimes there and had drinks after returning from our evening out. The entertainment was enjoyable however if you are expecting a "big show " this is not the place for you, this is a quiet complex. We used the on-site restaurant once. Buffet style not complaints but nothing exciting, great for young families who don't want to walk into Maspalomas. The top pool is very deep and I would like to say not really suitable for young none swimmers, this pool should really be 14yrs+. Our duplex had everything we needed, comfy beds, pillows etc. We hired the safe for a small deposit and pool towels were provided. You can hire them if not included in your deal. Our room was cleaned 8times during our 11 night stay. We used our terrace most evenings, we had 2 sun beds and a garden sofa etc. The teenagers stayed on the 1st floor, the bathroom was massive. We eat out most evenings and enjoyed returning to restaurants that we had previously visited 8 years ago. Out and about, the local beach is ok if you want a dip in and out, but nothing compared to the impressive dunes and the beach of Maspalomas. We visited Playa Del ingles twice. 10euro taxi ride, the kids loved it, busy loads of shops full of fake this and that. Sports bars, mojito bars, Hard rock Cafe, all you can eat places. However we found a little gem and had lunch there twice. The prices of food and drink compared to the more classy resort of Maspalomas was noticeable. Would we return, yes now the children are older "without them".
