No window ( one small inside the hotel )
In the room smell disgusting - cheap cleaning detergent - I can’t breath. Shower is so uncomfortable . On the bed was many hairs . On the chair was a bottle - was from previous stay- they even didn’t notice and don’t clean, horrible . Service is slow and rude . Unbelievable this disaster has good feedbacks - I believe they cheat with feedbacks or pay to booking& gogle

Todo me encantó , sólo los últimos dos dias hubo problemas de agua , se tuvi que esperar la pipa y tardaba en calentarse el agua .
En fin llevadero para otros puede ser un lío .
El desayuno delicioso con opciones.

Great location and area to walk around. The room itself was spacious and clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating.
Didn’t like that the towels were pretty old, handle in the restroom didn’t work and the safe ended up malfunctioning while we were there. Also had to keep asking for toilet paper when most places have enough already in the room.
Luckily we got a room in the far back of the hotel but still was pretty noisy. Those in the first rooms probably had it worse with the noise but have to keep in mind that there are restaurants right below.
Other than that it was a pretty good stay!

The hotel appears to be classy in appearance. However, lobby has no chairs to sit down. Some guests were sitting on the floor, others on the entrance steps. Water not always available in shower. We spent about one week in this hotel. Hotel front entrance is not handicapped friendly. It rained during our stay and water was all over the hotel floors, making it dangerous to walk. Floors were full of water, shoes all wet, dangerous. Staff took steps to clear the water. There is only one chair in the room and it is not very comfortable. We got the impression that the reception folks were uninterested, A couple of ladies in the PM were more attentive. Will not stay here again, for sure.

Good value for money, staff is super friendly. Only problem is the property has big issues with water supply- we had to go to a different hotel (complimentary by the original hotel) to get a hot shower

We come to Merida and the beach towns twice a year and we always begin and end our stay in Merida at the Plaza Hotel Kavia. This is our third year to stay at the Plaza Hotel Kavia. There are so many things to like about this hotel, but the most important thing is the cleanliness. The staff does a really good job at keeping the place clean to the highest standards. One thing I noticed though: we used to get two bottles of water every day but no more. I hope the owners will change their mind and continue with the two bottles of water a day because Merida is HOT and the OXXO store is a bit of a walk on a hot day. That is the only criticism I have. The hotel is in a great location and there is a coffee shop that is open until 10 pm. The Hotel Plaza Kavia is our go-to place for two good reasons: the cleanliness and the location. I highly recommend!!!

Rent og rigtig god beliggenhed på Paseo de Montegro.
Værelse havde kun et vindue, som vendte ud mod gangen/fællesarealerne, hvor andre gæster passerede tæt forbi.
